So I returned the mp3 I got yesterday since my sister spilled her drink on it. I just got cash back and didnt get a new one because my dad said he'd buy me a smart phone when he leaves for Korea this February (I guess that makes it a birthday present?)

Anyways, he tells me AFTER I return it and dont pick up a new copy that it wont be a contract and the budget is $200. Turns out anyting half decent without a contract is like $600. Bah, I rather would've kept the android mp3 and have gotten a cheap regular phone instead then.

So if anyone knows any android phones that are $200 dollars or below and arent contract then I'll be looking at suggestions. I'm looking for:

Strong battery life (cuz I really want a music listening device)
Good screen (I dont trust touch screens so I dont want to get phones with a questionable screen quality)

I would like to prefer it has some physical buttons (soft back, home). I mean, somethinglike a galaxy is great but its soft back and home button is also touch sensed, and I can see myself pushing it far more often than I'd like on accident. I guess it makes me old fasioned, but I generally prefer buttons.

Huh... maybe I should get a blackberry instead.

Some Korean phones are great, I rather have a Korean phone than an iPhone tbh. But I know a lot of the times they're incompatible when they're being used here. Something with the SIM card, couple of my friends have issues with their old Korean phone, so they had to get new ones here.

Nokia phones are great, and the newer models have buttons! They're also famous for their sturdy-ness. LG is okay, but mine broke after a year or so. ヽ(;▽;)ノ

I dunno if I'm helping or not.

Sturdiness is a word bro

I don't see why you would need a phone without a contract when you can just get another MP3 player. Maybe an iPod touch iunno.
