What are those weird things to the left?

My guess would be some kind of uber shadow mission mob. My problem is the fact that the lancers are clearly the same, and it all looks very shopped. :/
Other than that though, I like the concept. :)

Yeah looks very shopped. The monsters look so wrong. I'd remove the names. Put in some fancy text, maybe some effects. Pretty boring otherwise

Yeah, the point was to have two identical lancers guarding the commander, and there really wasn't much I could do about it looking shopped.

Okay, I'll remove the names, but I have no idea what effect to put in.. Maybe dragon meteors in the far horizon?

Where did you get the lancers? You could get two in different positions and still have it so that they're "identical lancers". This way it looks kind of unrealistic, especially when they're supposed to be guarding the commander.

It's hard to tell where the focus is, everything is similarly coloured. If you added a light source, and some shadow, it would make it look more real instead of a bit C/P.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I'd say, remove the names and add some effects behind the characters.. maybe a couple of C4D?

Also, add some shadows and a border would look nice too :]

That would make it way more shopped looking.

I thought it was because the monster/map/human textures didn't match.

Well I think you can modify it a bit, play with filters and layers?
But I don't really think a C4D effect is needed...
Unless it was something small...

Well, if he doesn't know how to use C4D's properly, he could at least smudge out some stuff or add more stuff to the background and smudge it out /is a smudge hoar

The background looks really plain :l

Oh, and a photo filter might look nice, maybe a gradient layer and set it to overlay or something o:

Is the character in the same layer as the monsters and background?

Probably not, cause when you paste something in Photoshop, it automatically makes a new layer...

Gah, i'm a web designer/programmer, not a photoshopper. I don't know these terms D:

You know what? Screw this, i've made 5 crappy signatures with hardly any improvement between them.

Moderators, please lock this.

I'd fix the the Furious the Master. That in-game glitch just kills the sig.

But I actually love it, even if it looks simple. :)

That's no excuse to give up. I mean, sure your first few sigs might not look ideal, but after you play around with it, you'll eventually get the hang of it. I'm a web designer/programmer myself and I can also do a pretty good job photoshoping stuff (well, technically I use a different program, but they're pretty much identical function wise).
