Sorry everyone. I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but I continued to forget. OH well, better late than never I guess. When I got my new Antivirus, they gave me 5 free license keys. I gave one away to Hanna, and the other to Deity. Now, these expire on the 12th, so I'm really hoping some people can put these to us. The license keys will go on one PC and last up to 6 months. I'll probably just use a RNG to determine the 3 winners. All you have to do is make a sentence that has this phrase in it: "Defending Bit by Bit." Clever huh? Bitdefender? BIT BY BIT?! . . .

Okay, that was bad, but yeah. Provided there are people that choose to participate in this relatively short time span, I'll select the winners around 7 p.m. Central Time. http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/antivirus.html#
^And that is what the Antivirus provides if you're curious about it. Again, sorry that I didn't make this sooner

EDIT: Okay, thanks for participating guys. The winners are:

Lan
Hiccup
Chockeh

I'll send you 3 a PM with the code. I should've mentioned this earlier, but if you have a current antivirus, you may have to get rid of it. BitDefender does not like sharing. Of course. . .if one of you don't want the antivirus, I might just give one away to Kitae if he's online, poor guy D:.

At this rate, you two will automatically win, and I'll be left with 1 key. 4 hours to go :<.

How good is the antivirus compared to Avast or MSE?

Does this help? BitDefender was ranked as the #1 Antivirus. You could read the reviews to compare the two.

EDIT: To put my own experiences with it, I simply love it. I just put it on Autopilot mode, and it works without me having to do anything. I can do a quick scan, or a full system scan whenever I want, and it even has a gamer mode. Also, it doesn't give you annoying pop-ups if a problem appears. You can simply go into the interface and look under events. It appears I've had some files infected, but BitDefender immediately quarantined them, allowing me to remove them entirely.

The free trial is 30 days. You don't need to do an offer, just register with your license key and download Antivirus Plus 2012.
