Tsugawa Tatsuya just lost his parents in an accident... but he's trying not to let that keep him too down as he starts highschool.

While trying to obey his father's final wish for him to become an upstanding man, he ends up helping a girl who was being bullied. Despite her exceedingly cold nature, he just can't leave her alone... which may not necessarily be to his benefit, as he ends up getting wrapped up in a world where things like parasitic mind-controlling bugs exist...
From the illustrator (Yuna Kagesaki) of Chibi Vampire (Karin) and Onii-chan Control, as well as the Illustrator of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, comes Hekikai no AiON. After his parents die, Tatsuya has to adjust to the new atmosphere of people trying to win his friendship over for his fortune, and the tough life of starting High school. To make matters worse, he meets a girl who seems to be a Tsundere/Yandere that has a cynic nature...I personally think this is a combination of Karin, Girlfriend X, and every Higurashi franchise. Cute and sweet, with a bit of horror and delight. The only complain I have about the Manga series is the artwork. Like previous series illustrations by Yuna Kagesaki, it just kills the seriousness of the moods with the choppy half-assed artwork.

I do remember it was one of the official parody Higurashi manga's. Would kind of explain why she drew cute Chibi Vampire with a mix of violence so easily.
