One thing I really like about college is when I take a class with an amazing professor.
I'm not talking about your average foreign, physics professor who speaks with a thick accent or that immensely boring literature professor who always puts you to sleep.
I'm referring to those amazing individuals who change your life in some way or another. The impact they have on you is always there and you never forget them, even after years of taking their classes.
Do you have any teachers or professors who you'll never forget?
I remember taking Calculus III during my Fall '08 semester (I think). My professor was this somewhat overweight guy who was going a little bald near his forehead.
My god, he was HILARIOUS. :XD:
I would always try to go early and catch me a seat near the front of the class because he definitely commanded attention in that class, even if it was a topic like multivariable calculus and double and triple integrals.
I always told myself that if I ever taught a college class, I wanted to be like him.
Gosh, I even named my cat in Mabinogi after him (or his last name).
He wasn't a permanent member of the Math dept. though, just a visiting professor, so he left the next year. Pity, I wanted to take another class with him.
Great, great guy.
