I've been having trouble getting the spiders to "stick" in the Tir graveyard. I'll try to stick them behind one of those broken structures, but they'll just walk off as soon as aggro i lost. I have no trouble creating a spider farm in Emain, so I'd like to know what I am doing wrong here. :T_T:

Get them stuck on the tree. It's larger than one of those stupid tombs.

I'm pretty sure they walk back to their general spawn area, so you just have to stick them somewhere outside of their spawn area.

Since you have no problem making a farm in Emain, you should just get your cobwebs from there instead of trying to make one in Tir.

You gotta get them stuck on the other side of the trees.
And yeah.. emain is a bit easier.

I'll probably continue doing it in Emain, but I hate the trip to the weaving wheel there. ;;

I clear 10 pets and gather webs so I won't run back and forth as much, but if you want a spider farm in Tir, you'll have to make the farm in a place that's obviously outside of their spawn area. There's also the issue that those areas are usually where new players can kill them pretty easy, or where they'd aggro someone else and walk off.

Just don't tell me what channel you're on, because I found a farm in Emain once and got perfect wm training.

I've given up on trying to make spider farms. Invariably someone jackass or stupid n00b comes along and kills them all.

Exactly my reason for not making spider farms.
I just run around and gather webs. Annoying and tiring to do, but it's much better than the feeling of your spider farm getting destroyed in a single instant.

Really?
I spider farmed from rF-A and this never happened.
Emain is always dead empty and if you put it behind a far away tree almost no one passes it.
Spider farms vanish when you leave them alone too long (like going to the wheel) so you should fill tons of pets before making the trip.

can't you leave your pet sitting there?
or have a friend sit there as well?

You see this is why when I go to emain, and I see someone with a spider farm, I politely tell them to enjoy their weaving and change channels...I know the look of panic I get when I see someone approaching my spider farms....apparently I rage type when I am afraid of a nubmuffin windmilling ; .;
