After a little bit of thinking, we've decided to hold a little event with big possibilities (and prizes)!
First off, don't get us wrong... we love this community! We have so many great and active members, and we're very grateful for that. However... we could always use more. Let's face it, sometimes Nation can get a little boring at times. You click the "New Posts" button over and over, but there's no new replies. Wouldn't it be nice to see people posting more often?
That's why we've decided to hold this little event. For one month, from 5/2/2012 to 6/2/2012, we're asking you guys, the community, to tell your friends about Mabination and ask them to check it out. Let them know what a great and fun place it is, and about how much information, news, and discussion we have here. If they seem to like it, ask them if they'd like to join! Tell them to make an introduction topic and let the community get to know a little more about them. Link them to a few threads you think they might be interested in. Really give them a warm welcome that'll make them want to stick around.
Rules you need to know:
Once you have someone sign up, PM me (http://mabination.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=249) with their name.
Your referred member must join during the event period. This means that if they joined any time before 5/2, they will not be qualified.
Your referred member must make an introduction post for their referral to count. However, they do not have to mention anything about this event in their intro.
They must also make at least 5 posts within the one month period. At least two of these posts must count toward their post count. This means posting in sections other than Bean Rua. If they choose to post the other 3 required posts in Bean Rua, that's fine.
Spam will not be tolerated. If they get their posts by spamming or posting off-topic posts, they will not count.
All site leaders have access to your IP addresses, and proxies don't always work the way you'd like them to. Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified immediately.
I will be PMing all of the referred new members to make sure that you really referred them, and didn't just choose random new members. Not saying any one of you would do this, but you never know.
Prizes:
First Prize: 10k KK Card or any $10 Gift Card and 10k Nation Gold.
Second Place: 15k Nation Gold
The next 5 runner-ups will receive 5k Nation Gold each.
That's $10 and 50k Nation Gold just for telling your friends about Mabination. It really doesn't get any easier than that.
