So, in the spirit of Diablo 3 being released 4 days ago. I've decided to set up a little private game on the D2 Manics private server to relive the experience.

The mod itself is pretty much a rehaul of the weapons/skills/loot drop etc.

Now the mod itself, be sure to BACKUP your patch_d2.mpq file to revert back to the original game after you're done with the mod itself.

Just post when you to decide to play.

*I'm fully aware D3 has been released, but this is just for the people who can't run diablo 3 (including me).

Diablo 2 Median XL is awesome. Best mod, possibly best Diablo.

I always single-playered it though, or lan with friends. owo

Melee sorc is my fav class/build º3º

I'm going for a generic Bowmazon, should be fun this time around not having to wait until level 6 for some decent fun.

It looks very, very, very interesting though. It looks like it has the much more elaborate gameplay of the two, that's a definite plus. Downloading now!

Won't be ready for a few days because I have my copy of D2 at my dad's. Also, I'm more interested in SP.

How come I never knew about this, though to be fair I haven't played Diablo Hellfire in AGES and I was too noob back then to know what the fuck is a mod or a fucking anything 8D

definitively going to give it a try, and I was actually considering playing Diablo again, so great.


And you'll love Median, is awesome!
The cube recipes and gear upgrading is super fun, you'll be using the cube every time you go back to the city, it has so many things and soasklfjasklf, etc.
