Like to sing? Then why not take part in the Nation Chorus? 8D

This is an idea I came up with a couple minutes ago and thought it would be fun to do. Basically, you can sign up for a song, sing it, and send me the file so I can mix it in a chorus. There will be deadlines for when you can sign up, so be quick!

There will only be one song project at a time. This thread will be updated when there's a new song to sign up for.

So, the first song we'll be doing is "Smiling Together." "Interviewer."

The deadline to sign up for this is Sunday, September 16. I'll extend it if there's not enough people.

The deadline for getting recordings in is Sunday, October 7. This may be extended as well if the other one is.

Here are some rules as well:
1. When you send me your file, please send me the raw recording. That means no background music, no effects, just your voice.
2. If you want, you don't have to sing the entire song. You can only sing parts of it if you want. Just post which parts you'll be singing so other people will know (only if you won't be singing the whole thing).
3. Red is the deadline for sign-ups. Green is the deadline for sending in your recordings.
4. When you sign up, please post an icon that you want to be represented by. When I make the video, I want to put up icons with everyone's names under them (like in the Nico Choruses).

I will admit that I was a little unsure about it, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. The idea was inspired by another chorus that did something like that and it turned out okay, but I see what you mean.

Depends on how good they are with said instrument honestly, and if it's out of place from the song, then no.

Yes, I'm going to mix like that. But I would encourage everyone to sing the whole song, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Just remember that if you only record part of it, tell us what parts you're going to sing.

You can take your time recording, since I know a lot of people have more important things to do along with practicing (although I hope it doesn't take TOO long).

Like Nanaho said, you can submit a 30-40 second long sample singing anything so I know what kind of voice you have. Then it can give me a better idea on how to mix it.
