The anime wasn't.. like at all. Most of the "bad" parts were blurred out and the cussing in it was bleeped out. At least in the subbed version.

later on in the anime it is. there was a turning point where i just couldn't watch it anymore.

later on someone gets their eye removed while they're still awake because they lost a battle
i skipped that part so i don't know how exactly gross it was, but, that's where i stopped watching.

I know. I've seen the whole show. They blur it out. Like you know its happening, but you only see this blurred out black spot.
