Problem: Doesn't work with her computer desk; too painful, not enough room.

As such it'll mean more hiatus time for Ravendor. Last time I just ended up taking the guild for a month (being that I pay for it and we're married and all) and things seemed to go well. That'll probably happen again in a few days, but, since things have been dead lately I may as well ask if anyone's against this plan? I like to think things went quite well when I last was in charge ( I didn't break nothin').

As usual, when Rav's back she'll naturally take back over.

As per the old Führer's set up, we kick inactive members after three weeks (although I'm still not sure about the alts of people who are active. I assume that's safe) unless told ahead of time.

Of course I also have really, really bad memory (which I'm still debating if I should get it checked out or not but anyway) so if you DO need to disappear for a month or something, preferably let us know either here or through PM. Now, I know not everybody is on 'Nation (for some reason), but still, in-game notes should work too.

Is it just me, or is this guild mostly dead?

Someone told me a few days back that it's possibly because finals are coming up, but I wonder. Especially since I remember reading someone say that most guilds don't last very long.

I know that i'm exceptionally/horridly busy.
Unlike 98% of the active playing population, in Massachusetts we don't get out until the end of June, and this year it's even worse because of the snow days. I'm out on the 23rd, which is lucky because most schools are going until July. Or, they end around the 23rd normally.

I still have one full week + 4 days/finals week and teachers are just piling the work on. Those who haven't been out already are probably in their finals week.
So, it's like the pre-summer lull.

It's just been a slow week or two. Ravendor's been playing nonstop for almost two years, and as such needed a break. I think I did to, since I was rarely accomplishing much else most of the time. Also due to needing to head to the doctors office quite often we're generally out when most people are playing (if I gather right, rarely can I log into Mabi and find people actually playing it. Not just the guild, I mean the entire game will just be idling in Dunby. Empty shadow mission altars, no calls for dungeons in the advertising, nothin'.)

Nexon actually needs to release something, or put out an event that actually involves playing the game, or something. Players can only be left to their own devices for so long, and since all G14 did was add like an hour worth of solo missions, it's been a looooong time since we last had a fun, gameplay related event.

Plus I just broke 1000 so I'm afraid to run any plot missions, and I got my mansion built which was the last goal I'd had. Still need a new one that doesn't involve spinning in circles a thousand times because, seriously, I can't stand the WM ranking grind the way everyone else seems to.

Anyway, the point is, we're not dead. No more than the game is, at any rate.

That said, when are you usually playing, SUNFLARE? If you can give us a timezone too that'd be great, since a good chunk of us are running on Australian time which tends to be a good 12-14 hours seperated from everyone else. Anyway, some SM runs would be fun!

Nah, nah, it's cool. Anyway they've actually done a hell of a lot of tweeks with this patch. I'm actually kinda HAPPY about it for once! I get to run around on a dragon, I can reconfigure my controls and finally get rid of that stupid Auto-POV thing which I cannot even remotely fathom a use for, there's new missions to run, my giant won't suck as much since Throwing Attack no longer takes a century to cool down, the list grows and grows!

I mean, how 'bout that, Mabi doesn't suck as much today!

School in Massachusetts starts the day after labor day [in most schools] and you get out in the 3rd/4th week of June. Our vacations are short and really spread out, and of course, snow days.
My school is pretty lucky, although weather-wise we almost always get the most impact from the snow. This is the latest we've had to go as far as I can remember. Only 5 snow days this year.
I remember two years ago, after the ice storm, kids were going halfway through July. :c

So yeah, I have one exam tomorrow and i'm done.
HOLY JESUS CHRIST MY HISTORY EXAM WAS BRUTAL.
It was actually a cakewalk, but I got hung up on one open response question and ended up staring at my paper for 45 minutes.
She gave us the 30 minutes between exams [because it was the first exam and there were 3 or 4 other people still working] and five minutes before that time was up, she walked over to me and was like, "So, Claudia...you've been staring at that paper for a long time. How's that working out for you?"

Me [in my head]: JESUS WOMAN, I UNDERSTAND YOU'RE NOT A PSYCHIC BUT YA COULD'VE COME OVER HERE A BIT SOONER AND HELPED ME OUT @.@
[out loud]: Yep. Kinda stumped on this last part.

So she took my exam away and gave me the extra credit she was offering for two extra points and told me I could get partial credit on my open response. ;_;

also found out I got a 93 on my geo final [go figure, got a 93 on the midterm], for a lovely 90 average for the year.

But dude, I wanted full credit [or at least, a chance at a 9/10 or some crap] and then gotten the two extra credit points as...extra credit to boost my grade and to eventually e-peen about, not to supplement my suckiness.

afterwards I looked over the notes and realized that the part I missed was so obscure and dumb and didn't make any sense and nobody else got it so I don't feel as bad HURR
