Why do SMP griefers always make Swastika?

Like, is it supposed to be intimidating or something?

From time to time I get a message on my server that someone hit the honeypot and got banned, and when I do I login to find a bunch of them in my spawn town along with the building containing the trap they hit partially dismantled- which is fixed in seconds with worldedit.

IDK, copying the thing that Team Avolition (well known MC griefers (actually has succeeded in completely ruining servers to the point that world edit is useless) does sometimes?

The only way they can do something bad is crash the server after the damage has been done. Which is something I've pulled off before.

Even that doesn't do much.

It's possible to make a server detect that it has crashed and reset itself after a few minutes- technology Nexon should invest in if they haven't already.

Probably the only really unreversible griefing is when the griefers hack one of the admins and not only obliterate the world, but the backup files too.

Either way, the typical troll griefer that appears just makes a few swastika, steals some stuff, damages buildings, then gets banned in some way.
