The God Test
Ever wanted to ally with 16 people, taking down a boss that will actively fight back and retaliate? Well, welcome to The God Test. Priest Wyllow of Emain Macha found, in a broom closet abandoned place of worship, a book detailing the rites to enter Falias. Immediately Aodhan and the Paladins entered Falias. They returned with their armor broken and eyes filled with terror. They spoke of a golden dragon (http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Adniel), gargantuan humanoids of ice (http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Wendigo), the very grass attempting to assail them (http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Sarracenia), and more. It was as though every formidable beast they had ever encountered had been brought to life in this changing hell. The altar to it was destroyed and hushed up. That is until the portal opened again, and the people of Erinn turned to the Milletians to stop the encroachment by defeating The God Test.

Information: The God Test is a new minigame accessible by the Portal Keeper in Emain Macha, before you can enter you must do the quest "A Challenge For The Gods"(detailed in the spoiler)

Talk to Wyllow with the [The Portal] keyword after talking to any priest in Uladh about [Nearby Rumors] after having a cumulative level over 2,000 (Text: Oh, are you a here for a blessing? Who am I kidding, I know what you're here for...the situation has gotten worse. We're hoping a Milletian of your stature would be able to assist in stopping the Portal. Speak to Aodhan, he'll brief you.) Speak to Aodhan in Emain Macha to receive the Falias Dagger (1x2, Storeable in the Special Inventory, Cannot be Dropped, Cannot be Destroyed.) (Text: Oh hello <name>, how are you doing? Oh, I guess Wyllow sent you. It's nice to see you're working on stopping this, it gives me some hope. The situation is bad, the portal is growing and if we don't stop it we fear exponential growth rates. From the gathered...intelligence...we've deemed that the portal does indeed lead to Falias. But not to the famed Falias you went to, no, this is much worse. It seems to be an arena, but the environment changes after every monster. We have noticed that our expeditions have minute but evident negative effects on the portal growth. Here, you'll need this to enter, the Portal Keeper will tell you how to enter. Good luck <name>, you'll need it.) Speak to the Portal Keeper in the Emain Macha Cathedral. (Text: Another Milletian? Here, give me your dagger. Talk to me when you want to enter and I'll perform the rites.)

Once the quest is done, you may speak to the Portal Keeper to enter The God Test with your party. If you wish, you may request the consent of another party leader to ally with you and you will enter together. When you enter The God Test, you will be one minute to prepare spells and such on a giant white circle emblazoned with a Celtic Knot (this arena is around the size of your general dungeon boss room.) Then an apparition of the gatekeeper of Falias, Eabha, will appear, the original party leader must speak with him to start the Test. (Text: Hello Milletians, are you are sure you wish to face the powers of Gods? [Yes] [No: Eabha disappears and the Test begins regardless] Are you sure, this is my final warning? [Yes: Test begins] [No: Test begins regardless])

The players will then go through a gauntlet of extremely powerful monsters. The first set of monsters is random, but the sets are static. [Please comment and improve these sets!]

Shadow of Death
Crag Cow (x4) + Cuilin Golem Shadow Commander + Shadow Warrior (x6) Shadow Wizard (x8) + Shadow Commander (x4) Dark Commander (x4) + Their Method Zombies (x24) Basilisk (x2) + Giant Sulfur Spider + Red Sulfur Spider (x12) Dark Commander (Strong)(x6) + Dullahan (x2) + Blinker (x15) This sacrifices number of waves for buffs, these monsters are insanely strong, don't let the numbers fool you.[/list]
<1 minute intermission>

Dank, Dark, and Deadly (Dungeon reference :D?)
Arachne + Giant Golden Spider (x10) Golem (Small Black) (x4) + Giant Lightning Sprite (x10) Giant Skeleton Hellhound (x5) + Metal Bard Skeleton (x15) Succubus (Black/Red/Yellow/Pink/White) + Skeleton Laghodessa (x15) Armored Bear (x3) + Argos (x5) New Gremlin (Blue/Pink/Green/Black/White) + Ogre Warrior (Large)(x3) Incubus (Black/Blue/Red/White) + Specter Army (x30 mobs) Blue Cyclops (x5) + Captain Skeleton (x10) Giant Headless (x5) + Nightmare Humanoid (x10) Master Lich + Demi Lich (x3, can be damaged by normal weapons) + Ghast(Red/Blue x10 each)
Once the party has defeated one of these waves, they will be faced with the other (which will be at essentially x2 their power if they were spawned first.) When they have completed this, they may choose to stop and be rewarded (an extremely large amount of experience [I would like helping determining this], and a God Presence) or risk it all to do two more waves. If they choose to do two more waves they will be given 5 minutes and access to a basic shop which provides healing, potions, repairs at a high price at 95% (x3 the normal price?), and arrows/basic alchemy crystals.
They will then face both of the following monster sets, which have compounding difficulty per wave.

Nature's Havoc
Yeti (x5) + Mammoth Giant Sandworm (x2) Giant Alligator (x2) Giant Lion (x1) + Giant Lioness (x3) Neid (This will create a large lake in the center of the arena, Neid will be able to hit the entire remaining space) Praire Dragon Desert Dragon + Red Dragon (Dragons are much more mobile and focus on individual target killing)
<1 minute intermission>

Past Enemies
Glas Ghaibhleann Tabhartas Cromm Cruaich Guardian of the Ruins + Stone Horse Keeper Mirror Witch + Wendigo Crumena Claimh Solas Doppelgangers of Everyone in the Party Uroboros (8 heads) Nuadha Grim Reaper Bran Merrows Lugh + Cloakers(x10) + Ghouls (x10) + Giant Queen Moth (x2) The power of these monsters compounds as you advance. Do note that these are extremely buffed versions of mainstream bosses (over x10 more health and much more aggressive and intelligent AIs)
The players may now take a x2 reward and two God Presences once they have beat the waves. This time, Eabha will appear and the original party leader must speak to him again for interesting backstory (and continuation) (Text: It seems you have defeated the Tests of Power, but you have not proven your will as Gods. You will fail if you continue. But I guess that matters little to Milletians, as you cannot die. Do you wish to prove your will to us and reach the Pantheon of the Falias? [No: Party exits] [Yes: Cutscene plays, shows the arena being ripped asunder and the Milletians falling and crashing into a mountain peak, they can see Tir Chonaill in the South, and cities even farther away] Here you will become a God or die by their blades! [Eabha disappears, 30 second intermission])
This mountain peak is a bit smaller than the arena previously used. If you do look into the southern background, you can see Tir Chonaill, and past that Dunbarton, Bangor, Emain, etc. The area is lightly snowing (not obstructing player view), and flat.

The Pantheon (This list is done to show extremely powerful canon people, you will see non-gods etc.)
Elatha + Incubus (Black/Blue/Red/White)
Dougal (Has a sword and 1,000 health) + Glas Ghaibhleann (Spawns when Dougal dies through a cutscene)
Marlowe + Lanier
Adniel + Legatus
Mata + Tethra + Morgant

A cutscene will now play, featuring Eabha entering from a Falias Portal, holding a sword. The mountain peak will then burst into flames and leave a scorched rocky peak. Eabha will then speak. "You have killed the strongest apparitions of the gods. You are truly gods of might and will. It is sad you must now die as them."
You will now fight the Eabha, who wields his normal garb and a longsword. This longsword can kill nearly instantaneously. He has over 600,000 health, and Advanced Heavy Stander. He has powerful Area of Effect attacks that can kill a giant in transformation. If you kill him, you will be rewarded with four God Presences, and x3 normal experience.

Once you return, if you have defeated Eabha, you will be awarded the "the God of Challenge" title (+5% combat experience boost, +10 dex/str/int/will, -10 hp/mp/sp) and the following achievements:
Dank, Dark, and Deadly; Your turned their dungeon into a mass burial chamber.
Shadow of Death; The Fomorians are strongest under the Shadow of Death, so are you.
Nature's Havoc; The very forces of nature unleashed, only to be stopped by you
Past Enemies; The forces of the past are no match for you.
The Pantheon; You have defeated the strongest of the god's apparitions
The Gatebreaker; You killed the Gatekeeper of Falias and are worthy of Godhood.

God Presences What's the point in God Presences? [I'm hoping you guys have ideas for this, everyone I come up with is too OP or not powerful at all]

*Everyone please remember this is all hypothetical, and I'm doing this to kill time. I also realize that the lists are more than likely terribly varied and the storyline for The God Test sucks eggs.*

That sounds insanely difficult. Fun, but difficult.

The title should be more then +10 to stats for having to go through all that. Maybe +30.

Finally, someone responds

But yes, I was thinking of making it something along the lines of +30, wanted someone to suggest it first though :P

Also about the God Presences, I don't think you could be too OP, since anyone who can survive that would deserve it :XD:

Well, this first started as my idea for hybrid weapons (like a bow that could collapse into dual-wielding swords, etc.) But I thought that would just be a bit too OP, but now am I thinking it should lead you to another quest, which involves making a guise in order to infiltrate the palace of the gods...

The Deception of a few Gods
Talk to Wyllow after relogging and defeating Eabha (Text: I am sure you are loving the fame granted by defeating the Gatekeeper, but I must speak to you...You didn't kill him. We're not sure how he's alive after you said you killed him, but it seems even that the Eabha you defeated was an apparition. If that was as hard as you said, we're doomed. <the God's Presences begins to hum> What in the name of Lymilark? You didn't mention this... <he takes the God's Presences> Oh gods... I think we've found our answer. You don't have enough time, go to Corentin with these, she'll tell you all you must know.
Talk to Corentin (Text: Welcome to the Pontiff's Court how may I... <Corentin takes the God's Presences>, I... I... You must be <name.> Congratulations on defeating Eabha, but you obviously know he didn't stay dead if you're here. I'll assume Wyllow sent you, this is too important to leave to him. The problem with the Gods is you. Their arrogance would have been their downfall if you weren't such a threat to them. Sadly, we now have to force our way to the true palace of the gods, instead of the Falias' we have found as of yet. What's going to get us there is God Presences...along with some more difficult to obtain materials. The finest artisans of Erinn will have to work on this, are you sure you're up for it? [No: Quest Stagnates, can return to Corentin anytime to continue] [Yes: Text continues] You must forge a presence as a god. You must appear as a god to enter their true Pantheon. I've been thinking this over, and Cichol seems to be the easiest god to fake as. We only need to appear to be one thing, Dark! But simulating a gods power...that's where the finest artisans come in. We must forge a robe akin to Cichol's. It doesn't have to look like Cichol's put it must have the same power. That's why we must use the God's Presences. According to the Book of Rites that was originally used to summon that godforsaken Portal, Cichol's Robe consists of an Armor, a Robe, a Fabric, a Plate, a Frame, a Herb, and a Potion, all merged by Alchemy. We'll also have to enthrall a powerful Fomorian to give us an idea of Cichol's presence, and have to find the patterns for the Armor and Robe. That's all we know from the book detailing the Rites.
Synthesize the Armor of Darkness, Robe of Derangement, Cloth of Lucidity, Structure of Integrity, Falias Herb, Aonbharr Tear while having a Tamed Fomorian Commander to obtain Cichol's Robe (Item Description: It doesn't seem to look exactly right, one of the wings is partially broken off. But it should pass.)
Speak to Corentin while wearing Cichol's Robe (Text: Hello <name>, it seems you've done it. I'd expect no less from the God of Challenge. Talk to the Portal Keeper, if we're right we could infiltrate the very center of the gods.
Speak to the Portal Keeper (Text: Good luck.)
Complete the Shadow Mission The Deception alone. (Cutscene plays, Cichol, Morrighan, and Neamhain tend to a wounded Nuadha. Cichol speaks "You're a fool for letting you apparition take control of you, you could have been killed in your weakened state." Morrighan looks at you "Cichol, get me some more Holy Flames." He answers behind her. She looks at you shocked "Imposter! WHO ARE YOU!?" The gods surround you and rip off Cichol's Robe. {This reveals whatever clothing you have underneath, so you could end up 'naked'} Morrighan speaks "<name>! You will die here and now for what you've done!" Corentin runs up behind you and holds a crystal ball filled with fire "Run <name>! I'll take care of the Gods!" Your character begins to run away, the Gods take pursuit until Corentin throws down the ball and runs alongside you. There's an explosion.)
Talk to Corentin (Text: You've come to! I thought you were going to die, but I guess you wouldn't since you're a Milletian. Regardless, I managed to save Cichol's Robe, it looks pretty useful, so feel free to keep it. It seems that you saw as much as I did, Nuadha was injured and the others were taking care of him. But why ally now? What would the point be? It all seems as if someone with the imagination of a two year old extensive powers is manipulating them.
Complete the quest to receive Cichol's Robe (5 def, 5 prot, looks like Cichol's robe but with one of the wings broken nearly in half, cannot be dyed but can be traded, dropped, burned, etc., will not provide Quest completion for others though as it is not the same item)

Cichol's Robe - Fixed Synthesis Recipe (Fixed 50% success rate, but requires r1 Synthesis, when synthesizing you can request someone else in your party synthesizes it but they must r1 synthesis)
Armor of Darkness Robe of Derangement Cloth of Lucidity Structure of Integrity Falias Herb Aonbharr Tear Brionac (Will survive but will take one point of current durability away regardless of fail or succeed)

Armor of Darkness Crafting - Requires r1 Blacksmith, the pattern must be fished up on the edges of the arena in the Giant Alligator wave of Nature's Havoc by r1 Fishing, 10% completion per attempt (x3 God Presence, x5 Dullahan Armor Scrap (Rare drop from Dullahan in Shadow of Death), x10 Mythril Plates), finished with a God Presence.

Robe of Derangement Crafting - Requires r1 Tailoring, patterned fished up in the lake on the Neid wave of Nature's Havoc by r1 Fishing, 10% completion per attempt (x3 God Presence, x5 Master Lich Robe Remant (Rare drop from Master Lich in Dank, Dark, and Deadly), x10 Finest Silks), finished with God Presence

Cloth of Lucidity - Woven with r1 Weaving, requires x10 God Presence, x20 Playwrite Thread (Rare drop from Marlowe and Lanier in The Pantheon), x20 Finest Fabrics

Structure of Integrity - Crafted with r1 Handicraft, requires x10 God Presence, x20 Sulfur Spider Joint (Rare drop from Giant Sulfur Spider in Shadow of Death), x20 Finest Firewood

Brionac - G11 Mainstream (Will survive the Synthesizing, but will have 1 durability point remvoed regardless of failure or succeeding.)

Once all the required materials are gathered you will automatically receive the Shadow Mission [A Powerful Fomorian], you will spawn in the center of Taillteann facing the Fomorian Commander. This monster must be tamed, but it has 100,000 health and advanced heavy stander and can only be tamed by a r1 Animal Tamer (this mission allows for 3 people.)

When it is tamed, proceed to the Dry Ovens and synthesize Cichol's Robe. (static 50%, r1 only, can be requested to perform)

You should've put the Guardians of Avon in one of the Pantheon groups, only thing I have to add.

I was thinking about putting them there with Marlowe instead of Lanier, but it just didn't match.
But I do agree, they should be in the Pantheon.

How rare is "rare"

If it's snow spider web rare. Count me out, feels pointless trying to get a party up and running for something that you MAY get within a year (robe)

that will just come out of gacha later

I would say rare as in 20% percent drop rate for all the specific crafting materials from The God Test, that would make it fairly 'easy' to get, relatively.
