From now on, wheneva you purchase a Shire or Thoroughbred from yonder Premium Shop, you will be able to choose the color of the mane, tail, and coat of yer new horse! All sorts of color combinations are available, so don’t let yer imagination limit ya! Black mane, white coat? No problem! You’ll be able to uniquely custa’mize yer horses to your own likin’!

Skills carry over when you rebirth a pet. While it may be pointless to rebirth 2 pets of the same skills set rebirthing say a yellow jindo into a mimic will enable mimics to have smash and so on ultimately making the pet significantly more versatile.


Technically yes rebirthing a horse into a horse is pointless as hell, but for a color change it's more reasonable than just to say turn a shire into a halflinger or something for no reason.

Original horses already have slight color morphs-- mine is reddish, while my girlfriend's was greenish-- so I wonder why they couldn't allow a larger palette to include those. Like a dyeing palette.

1. Color-selection pet cards are just another money-grabber.

2. Typing in an obviously fake Southern drawl...no, Nexon, just no. You're doing it wrong. If anyone seriously "got into the mood" by reading that, I pity their IQ and sanity levels. Once we see your company actually caring about the players and not playing the part of the sly pickpocket (friendly and nice while stealing us blind), THEN maybe we'll get excited about new cash shop content.

Just my usual cynicism. The way I see the world, most stuff is just a lot of unnecessary fluff covering people's actual motivations. Some people (and organizations) are good at maintaining a believable facade, and others aren't. Nexon falls into the latter category. No facade is better than a poorly-built one. To remain silent and be thought a fool is better than to speak and prove it so, and Nexon certainly showcases their incompetence rather blatantly.

Someone has to pay to keep the game running, all that stuff costs real money. If they can do it by tacking on some useless aesthetic nonsense that people will pay for, in order to let other play for free, then I'm all for it. I'll probably even buy one. For most people, aesthetics do add gameplay value. Otherwise we'd all be happy with 8-bit graphics.

Somehow I knew someone would bring that ancient argument to bear. I've gotten used to it by now.

There's nothing we as players can do to stop Nexon from being stupid and ignorant and generally customer-unfriendly. It's a fact that they ARE that way and there is no denying it. I play Mabi because it is Mabi, not because Nexon does a great job -- because they don't.

I've voiced my complaints through all channels available to me -- the official forum, the fan forums, the "ticket system" (which we all know does absolutely nothing), and even the Better Business Bureau (Nexon told me in so many words to f*ck off with the BBB). I sent copies of my attempts to consumer magazines and web journals attempting to gain publicity for the sheer incompetence Nexon shows. Doesn't mean I like Mabi any less; it just means I hate the guts of the company that runs it. There's a major difference there. Mabi would be a truly great MMORPG if Nexon would take its filthy, money-grubbing hands off it. That's all I'm saying.

Actually, last time i played, Runescape had better customer service then Nexon, and they made money.
