Nah, Metallurgy is the easiest life skill... you just kinda watch tv/movies and zone out while you're doing it. It only took me ~4 days to get to r1 and I pretty much just went through a bunch of tv series lol.

Metal Conversion, though... those pesky little diamonds still give me nightmares.

Nowhere near as crazy as Elite. But what HM missions HAVE you done may I ask? If its only Shadow Warrior, then you're sounding just like my friend, who claimed HM wasn't hard at all, yet he's only done Crag Cow HM and never fought a HM Lancer, Wizard, or Warrior.

Ah, then disregard my comment. I was under the impression that you've only done Shadow Warrior HM and thus, saw Hardmode missions in general as not as hard as people say they are.

Just kidding. I can see why you put it on WPC instead of something that looks nicer (Razor Gaunt, Denver Gaunt, Guardian)... Grats on obtaining the ES. I've ran the elite one twice yesterday but only Life Drain Crystals. :T_T: Although below 2 are my bridges waiting for Vast and Steel Needle respectively...:

Re-artisan rolled Rekhyt's highlander crymore to 18 str 68 luck and 5 of something that didn't matter.

out of about 400 runs I got:

1 Hawk ES (gave away), 4 Thames boots (2 gave away), 1 Hebona shoes (gave away), 1 Arbalest, and one Viscount enchant

More details:
Total Cost of balloons flint: roughly 1.7m (mostly just balloons, didn't really use flint)
Total gain (gold): 2m (made more, but I subtracted the balloon/flint/repair/etc cost), not including anything I sold. Pure "reward" selection
Exploration level 1-25 twice, also paid for repairs(including 2 accessories)/enchants(was buying junk enchants) with gold from ballooning.
Took 6 days; probably over 34 hours of actual gameplay hunting wyverns

Way too much work... but I must say, I feel very confident about wyvern hunting now -.-...

Next up Dexterity and Vast!

He has hax Crash Shot/Windmill and ungodly pet control... I'm pretty sure the mobs had more trouble dealing with him than the other way around lol.

some rewards are secondary. Passes are secondary (counting when they became obtainable.) stones are tertiary. Combo cards are (whatever 4th word is).

Well...I'm really good at dyeing like, any color on normal dyes, but I can get two of my blue pretty easy... and leather has my color as well, so getting 2/5 on leather for my blue is cake lol.

I am meant to use the music box when the dopple starts to taunt me, then I life drain. At least that is what the wiki tells me.

Haha it's not anything special. Anyone could've done it with the right skills. Some of the skills I've used to handle this dungeon was:

Barrier Spike - Used total 40 spikes over 5 floors. Key is to not rely on the barrier but to use it for proper mob positioning.
Crash Shot - I have no MP potion because I'm lazy, so I only used Crash Shot when I had MP.
Magnum Shot - For Bug Bears. I'm not that strong in ranged as I'm in Alchemy destiny, so did only around 800~850 crit magnum on them.
Arrow Revolver - I proved to myself once again that AR is still strong in Uladh dungeons. With 160% critical, AR dominates this dungeon.
Demigod - 3 times for regen+fury+crash shot combo.
Trans - 4 times
Windmill - Only for Agro rooms (Spiders)
Flame Burst - Only for Agro rooms and I didn't feel like going below deadly

And other melee skills such as Smash, Assault Slash, Charge, and evade for easy chaining and agro controlling.

Resources used:
- 40 Barrier Spikes
- 5 x Stack of HP30
- 1 x Stack of Phoenix Feather
- -Stamina (I only relied on Cypress, but you can get a lot better set)
- 16->2 Durability on Lizard Fancy +3R Wing Bow (Crit Path)

Though when I find out how to get a conversion stone, I don't mind. To me, it seems cheaper to do a +3 red then go to +3 blue. Because red stones are half the price of blue in Mari and I rather spend 30k on red than 60k on blue. x_X

Yes, but with blues being the double of reds, it makes sense to spend 60k to convert. 2 blues = 60k more than 2 reds.

I always use elven short bow. Until i ditched it for highlander. but before that, it was between esb and my ego

It's not about who uses or if they sell... (tho all my sigged ESBs sold fast) the rate of godlies with them is soooooo much higher. between a few friends and I, we got like... 1/20 short bows godly, but 1/5 elven shorts godly. (on monday either way, tho I still got 1/10 godly or better with ESBs other days of the week as well)

Also, we suspect luck affects it since g13.

After losing housing auction i tried again with help from Ki and we got a house together =D

Found a 43 attack 19 dura Francisca, a Volcano Cylinder, a 15 dura Crown Ice Wand, a 75 attack 16 dura Broad Axe, and a Vine item.

...my party still has several passes of Guardian of Avon HM and keeps on finding more passes as rewards.

Also repaired lots of wands at 92% and 93% for an entire month and I only lost 1 dura overall. Not bad.

Highlander is Lizard Fancy, (screw repair modifiers on it, might spike it later >.> artisan stole all my nx lol), with 20/67 artisan, and I did the 305c path on it, (also high grade, +2 max +2 min +5 crit) so it's

22.4 - 60 damage and 70.4% crit, and 3,687g repair cost at 97% after enchants (also 2200 range, normal speed, and R3)


ELB build would be godly r1 carp sig (+2 max +2 min +5 crit), Glorious Spike or similar, the 124 path and ideally as close to max artisan as possible (70 luck), so it would be

10.8 - 47 damage and 69% crit and 3,435g repair at 97% (was aiming for similar repair cost to highlander) (also 2000 range, slow, and ideally R3)
