From it being out on the ground and you sitting on it is my guess. For the record, Walter failed. Seeing that it cannot be blessed. I need to find a General Store with the highest % and repair there :sigh:

I do believe that storing it on a pet while you are afking in town in it would be the best way to preserve dura.

Nothing major but I did do my first real enchant today. Bought a pair of rank A prefix boots and enchanted difficult onto them. Yay for 2% crystal success increase :D

As a bonus, the boots also came with the alchemist enchant. FTW!

2) Bought a color item for 125k (kinda expensive, but it was the only one on the board). QQed at the lack of enchanters at this hour.
3) Put up a party sign and some nice rank 1 person came to burn/enchant for me. So I successfully enchanted color and extraordinary onto an article of clothing. Whoot! Now I just need to bridge it for white horse and spam Ciar adv furiously.

Also, managed to get another great success in my Enchant ranking today, so I only need one more great success and 7 huge failures, or 2 great successes and 1 huge failure.

The NPCs were surprisingly durable. I think the conflict basic npcs in general had too little hp, but Elite were able to hold their ground... a critical smash from the enemy still had over half their hp.

Agreed on that part, Lorna and Pan had equipment/items with a lot more thought put into them and even the "trash" was useful. If rumor is to be believed, they even had SN although it was much rarer than in Romantic Giftboxes.

With my fail RE enchant, failed one burn but second succeeded. xD Enchanted onto boots without fail. Was going to enchant Quick myself, but the 57% success rate coupled with my failchant rank, decided to have R9 friend do it. Succeeded on first try, but got 5/1, the lowest roll. At least it worked, I guess.

Decided, screw crappy junk enchants from Alby. I'm gonna burn tons of stiff water drop cylinders and enchant the stiff and water drop enchants instead. Even though great successes are supposed to be totally random, out of the mere 7 rank A+ enchants I enchanted, 2 were great successes and I was able to rank up to D! It may have just been coincidental luck, but...well, I'm thankful.

I randomly got a Burgundy bear enchant on my first run of the day of Their Method. Just as I was deciding to sell to the first person who bid on it, someone else makes an offer for three times as much!

I then spent the money on a subtle red flashing dye. I wasn't sure if I should, because In general, I'm not a fan of flashies. Turns out, it flashes perfectly between the red-ish pink of my hat, and the pure red of my bow! And the flickering makes it look like its on fire. Perfect for a fire mage/flame alchemist :D

Enchant rank doesn't affect enchant success, FYI. It only affects burn success.
