Any tips for ranking, too? Have the AP to rank shields but keep putting it off until I feel like rb'ing with mage destiny.

I don't know where wiki got that from (possibly a bad translation) because there's no such req on any rank. The correct way to train that is to either bypass the shield (Arrow vs Element Shield) or kill a mob through it (knocking back may count too, not sure). Any mob within the shield gives prof as long as it is up, not just the caster.
I used the second bank on the first leg of rafting and then suicided with the first Warrior mob for a 3 minute cycle. It still took me hours to get the Attack prof on later ranks though (since I choose not to glitch) which is kind of scary considering there are 1/3 as many Ice/Fire/Lit Shield Casters but they require the same number of Attacks.

Shadow Missions give easy Blocking prof in the same places as Evasion/Charge training by planting yourself against a wall. Fomor Attack and Ballooning may be good elemental alternatives, but I personally like Peaca (Ghosts/Wights) except you can only do two ranks per run due to needing Uses/Attacks. Otherwise there's Shadow Wizards and Python Shaman.
Fun tip for Blocks, the person who takes the hit gains prof regardless if s/he is the one making the shield. If you have an Imp you may be able to speed things up, but that tends to redirect hits somehow, not really sure how it works.

Heh... apparently, today was a good day to hunt green kiwis. Got a command scroll during my Thunder Dragon training (like I usually do), no drops from that spawn. While trying to get one Black Tailed Mongoose fur on my human, got another command scroll seconds before another spawn happens that day. Hustle my way there. Was only able to kill 2 out of 3 before they disappeared, but got the scroll on my the second kill. Not expecting to be that lucky, I was completely unprepared with a headgear to enchant the damned thing on, so wave-dashed to Coill for a falcon hat. Took 3 runs. First enchant attempt was a huge failure (-10 dura), second was a success. So now content with a 14/14 Fragmentation Wizard Hat. Only took 20-something green kiwis to get. Now to find bank space for it. >.>

Looks like a +5 crit +2 max gacha bow upgraded for max critical + artisan. I don't see what's wrong with it.

Mine is 48 max, 39 crit before artisan (max damage path) so they're technically the same bow where one is all max and the other is all crit.
