Hello everyone. This thread is about the Griffin's Roar skill. Now, A lot of people know the Griffin is second to the Mini Bear in combat. Granted, pet's combat skills lessen the stronger you yourself get, but I still wanted to train it anyway for fun (pet Alby arena, pet dungeon runs, etc.). Now, as I was training on Black Tailed Mongooses, I decided to use Roar for fun, and it didn't really affect them. I realized that Roar was cp based, as it also said it may not work on stronger monsters in the details of it. When my Griffin's cp reached around 600, I used Roar again on the Mongoose and.....nothing happened again. Basically, Nexon messed up the roar skill, as that was one of the Griffins defining features. For people to get any real use of it, IF they want to use it, they'd have to level their Griffin up, and even then, it most likely will only work on weak things anyway....
I really do love my griffin, but I wish that Nexon would've made the Roar skill better. Would it be THAT overpowered if it wasn't cp based, and stunned any monster, (with the exception of say, giant field bosses)?
