First since NA is in Open beta I'm sure lots of these will be "they havent implemented it''
1. How is nexon making money on this? Since Ap is from missions that means no rebirths? So what service options or anything?
2. How does one set-up a guild? (Anyone here on East have a guild?)
3. Can I just grind same missions over and over and over for ap? I see a few 20-25 Ap missions that I could grind to get my skills to capps fairly fast.
4. Is there a crafting guide? Cause I'm clueless.
5. Lifeskills guide?
Ok I am a Vindi noob as only having researched it for a hour or so before logging in. Thanks for any help.
Some I can answer fairly well, some I'm not sure. So here we go
1- Of course, we can't predict what will nexon do with the cash shop, but this are the following items I know are sold in Mabinogi Heroes:
Goddess Grace (similar to nao soulstone in mabi)
Premium Looks / Underwear.
Special Marketplace License (Allowing you to sell certain things on the marketplace that you couldn't otherwise)
Platinum Tokens (similar to Silver tokens, but you only need to use one, instead of 2,3, etc like with Silver ones). I believe (not sure) you can either buy them individually (<- this for sure) or buy a service that recharges you X amount of platinum tokens every X time. (I dunno specifications here)
2- No guilds yet, all I know is that it's done via website in Heroes. AFAIK they are free.
3- No, each time you repeat a same mission you'll get 5 less AP than last time until that amount reaches 0. However, there's a feature called "Today bonuses", which has not been released yet, that makes a single battle quest in every area to give you the max AP possible on your first run that day. (i.e you already did decisive battle enough times that it's giving you 0 AP , but it gets a Today Bonus, you'll get the 50 AP once more)
4 & 5 - No life skills (except fishing, but not released yet) which means crafting is simple, NPCs crafts your stuff, all you need are the materials, and the recipe. You unlock recipes by completing battle quests, materials are obtained by drops or mining.
I believe that's all I know, hopefully that answers your questions.

Im not 100% sure but this is the info i have:
1. There will be cashshop later. (lucky underwear hahahah)
3. The more time you do missions over and over again the less AP you get.

OK cool so if a mission gives 35 ap the first run it would go like this:
35+30+25+20+15+10+5 =140 Ap from that mission total. With a bonus mission each day that gets Full exp?
If anyone has information on crafting recipes could they please update wiki and list them here/make a guide
Just how you share your synthesis recipes! I DONT THINK SO :V!!
But seriously, its Beta, don't expect much right of the bat for guides and etc. You unlock recipes by doing newer missions, which they will show up at the either of the two crafting places, then you just collect mats and done.
Upgrading is is made at the Magic Shop, works similar the way DFO upgrades.

Do all games have upgrades like DFO now?
Mabinogi had something like that before people ranted and it was removed.
Zyrus is interested in Vindictus? owo Well, the mage/alchemist of Vindictus is female, so...
First since NA is in Open beta I'm sure lots of these will be "they havent implemented it''
1. How is nexon making money on this? Since Ap is from missions that means no rebirths? So what service options or anything?
Premium looks, I'm sure of that. Also, you'll have to spend Silver Tokens each time you want to go into a mission other than the Perilous Ruins one, and you get 50 Silver Tokens that will be replenished every Monday and Friday. 2 tokens for a mission. After doing 7 missions in a single day, the price raises to 3 tokens. After 13 missions, 4 tokens price. Price resets daily. Nexon gains a profit out of this by selling Platinum Tokens (300NX in KR, I think), which you only need 1 per mission, and also doesn't suffer from the increased price penalty.
2. How does one set-up a guild? (Anyone here on East have a guild?)
I think by going to the main website and creating one. It also creates other guild-specific stuff (like a forum), if I'm not mistaken. It's for free.
3. Can I just grind same missions over and over and over for ap? I see a few 20-25 Ap missions that I could grind to get my skills to capps fairly fast.
Every time you repeat a mission, the AP reward for completion goes down by at least 5 AP, until it reaches 0. So, eventually if you keep grinding, all missions will give 0 AP, which is a sort of a cap. The said daily bonus helps to alleviate that with a sort of a AP reward reset for the specified mission.
4. Is there a crafting guide? Cause I'm clueless.
Crafting guide is pretty small right now, due to this being beta. It's recipes you get from finishing your latest battles.
5. Lifeskills guide?
Wiki specifies... I think, 3?
