As we all know, in mabinogi, it is very tempting to eat all those big meats for arm strength, but what a lot of people don't know , is how fat those meats make you.
First of all, why I said big meats were tempting was because they lie all around the bots, for noobs its like free food. This is why a lot of Mabinogi begginers are fatsos (my opinion). If you are always tempted by this, I know a way to stop that craving and make money at the same time. In some places such as the mongoose/ other things spawn area near quilla, there are tons of meats lying around, if you have inv pick them up, BUT DONT EAT THEM. Bring them over to any npc seller and sell them, they're around 200g each and thats worth it if you're just running around picking them up. This tactic will stop your craving and make you eat less meat, therefore making you less fat.
But, meat isnt the only food that makes you fat, some look fine and healthy but after eating a few, you realize your character's a blob. An example of this is an orange. Some people might think these are just like strawberrys so they would eat them rapidly, but an oranges effects are opposite of a strawberrys, instead of making you thin, they increase you fatness, just another food to watch out for.
Now, about the foods that make you thinner.
The cheaper way to get thinner is to hit certain trees and bushes for berrys. These are very abundant and healhty. But wait! dont eat 50 of them at a time, your hunger has to be low enough to not be over full after you eat a berry. This could be a problem but you'll probably get hungry from whacking bushes and trees the whole time.
This method is wayyy more effective, but includes going to vales(having 5k) or requesting it from a chef. This method is called the CORN TEA METHOD. Once you obtain a corn tea, wait for your hunger to drop a reasonable amount, then quickly gulp down the Corn tea fluid and wait for results. That is all to the CORN TEA METHOD.
Other cooked foods include Tomato Basil Salad and Vegetable Canape, if your arms or legs are too big, request one of these. Tomato Basil Salad decreases your arm fat, and Vegetable Canape decreases your leg weight. The problem with these is that they cannot be bought from NPCs so getting a cook's help is the only way to obtain one.
And then if you really want to get thin, you can go to the Zardin hot springs, there should be one that lowers body weight. The water should look blue and should say "i feel like im losing weight" after a while.
