I have been asked by multiple people in game about whats going on with the events. So I will write down how I believe these events work. Please note that I am testing out the events right now so I can confirm or deny this. If you have info that I have not added then please post it below.

Help Grandfather Ghost
As far as I understand its a one time event that you do to get a randomised item. Basically you run around finding the ghosts and then sketching them. This has been confirmed! Though you can't do the quest a second time ON THE SAME ACCOUNT, you can do it on your assitant characters.
So heres the breakdown:
Items needed:
- Sketching Paper(meaning a trip to Qilla, Fillia or Vales)
If you logged on and recieved the quest on or after October 21 then you will get 5 sketch paper. This is because if you logged on before they fixed the quest then you would recieve the quest but not the sketch paper.
- Because of the cooldown time for sketching the latest you can start if you want to complete this quest in a night in game is 12am.
Limitation Key:
Gender and Race:
(HA) = Human Any Gender
(HM) = Human Male only
(HF) = Human Female only
(GA) = Giant Any Gender
(GM) = Giant Male only
(GF) = Giant Female only
(EA) = Elf Any Gender
(EM) = Elf Male Only
(EF) = Elf Female only
If there is a ~ then a number range that means the age range.
Example: [HM~13-16] = Human Males between the ages 13 and 16 only.
Repair and Dye:
(NR) = not repairable
(ND) = can not be dyed
Random Reward:
*I have posted rare and common on the bases of how many people are getting those items, this may change depending on randomisation(Is that a word?).
Rare Items:
- Ghost Robe (HM) (EM)
Common Items:
- Halloween Witch Robe (HF) (EF)
- Joker Pumpkin Head Mask (NR) (ND)
- Wicked Pumpkin Head Mask (NR) (ND)
- Smiley Pumpkin Head Mask (NR) (ND)
- Pumpkin Hat (NR) (ND)
100% Reward:
- 1,111 Exploration EXP
Location:
The quest is in Emain.
*The Ghosts don`t appear untill 6pm in game and disappear at 6am.
- The Father Ghost is outside the entrance to the Pub.
- The Mother Ghost is on the dock the restaurant is located.(usually wandering inside, but has been seen walking just outside)
- The Sister Ghost is outside the castle`s doors, but inside the gate and past Aodhan.
- The Brother Ghost is usually inside the auditorium, but has been seen just outside.
- The Grandfather Ghost is wandering in the square, you do not need to sketch him. just talk to him.

Falling Pumpkin "Stars"
I waited new Qilla Base Camp and a few pumpkins fell but I couldn't reach them in time. Anyways they rain down from 6pm to 6am randomly. Though Qilla doesn't seem to be the best place for them to fall. This needs to be confirmed.
Heres the Breakdown:
Items needed:
- A flying mount would be a bonus.
or
- A faster land mount.
- A good fossil cleaning method.
Limitation Key:
*There is no point in putting one down yet because there has been no recorded limitation for special event items yet.
