    Easy Ore Farming Mini-Guide

    Basically, I'm just going to explain the easiest way to farm for Iron Ore, Copper Ore & Silver Ore. It's really easy, but you need to be at least level 20 for this method.

    Level 20+

    Instructions:
    Step 1: Enter Dethrone The White Tyrant. Set it to Private so nobody else joins. Make sure you have mine bombs equipped.
    Step 2: Mine the two deposits in the first room, kill enough mobs to open the "door" and go in the portal.
    Step 3: Approach the main room but stop short of it and hug the wall.
    Step 4: Hugging the wall, make your way to the right and mine the ore there and pick them up. Continue hugging the wall and return the way you came and hug the wall going to the left and farm the ore there. Pick those up too.
    Step 5: Forfeit and Return to Town. Doing that will give your tokens back. Rinse, repeat.

    Easy, right?

    Level 31+

    You can obtain Iron Ore, Fine Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Silver Ore & Gold Ore here.

    Instructions:
    Step 1: Enter Blood Prince. Set it to Private so nobody else joins. Make sure you have mine bombs equipped.
    Step 2: Kill mobs in main room.
    Step 3: Kill mobs going up the hall to the first boss room.
    Step 4: Lead boss and respawning mob down the hall past the corner.
    Step 5: Run back into the room - the boss and mob should stay.*
    Step 6: Mine at your leisure.
    Step 7: Forfeit and Return to Town. Doing that will give your tokens back. Rinse, repeat.

    * = Sometimes the Vampire will chase you into the room. You can kill it if you want, but it'll just keep respawning. Not a big deal.

    Note: Alternately, you can skip Steps 4 & 5 and just go straight to mining. Just try to avoid getting killed. It's a bit faster this way, but also a bit more stressful and presents a much higher chance of getting killed.

    Tips:
    1. As far as I can tell, the difficulty and Oath doesn't affect the drop, so just keeping it on None is fine.
    2. Go naked, that way your armor doesn't get conditioned.
    3. Make sure you brought mine bombs.

      Darn. You found out my secret mining idea. :P

      One thing I didn't know though. I'd just run in and bring out the bear because I couldn't figure out how to get the camera view "un-stuck" after going too far into the cave. I didn't know you could hug the wall like that.

      Very useful. Better than trying to outrun the bear while gathering ore.....

      Hm... I found a better spot once you hit level 31.



      First room of Blood Prince.

      You also get Jelly Tissue (pretty frequently) and some Broken Hand Bones.

      For step 2, you only need to kill the spiders.

      An even better spot would be Red Tyrant HM.
      3 ore spots and a chance of getting Gold Ores

      Blood Prince takes 4 minutes for you to mine 2 ores, and requires you to kill a room and lure before you can mine.
      Red Tyrant you just ignore the boss, mine 3 ores, and forfeit...

      Yeah well, it's for level 31, not 35. People will be wanting silver for their Blood Prince (which they just got access to).

      I'm not even 35 yet. If it's really better then I'll add it when I get there (I'm 34 / 75%).

      is blood prince really a better place than white tyrant? white tyrant only needs to clear 1 room (a bit more mob than blood prince's 1 room) but u get 5 ore spots in total.

      It is. While it takes a little longer (3:00 compared to 2:30), the 2 nodes drop 4-5 per. So, they drop about the same amount (5*2). However, the ones on Blood Prince have a chance of dropping Iron Ore, Fine Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Silver Ore & Gold Ore.*

      * = Bolded = unavailable on White Tyrant nodes.

      And also... looking at Tyrant's Challenge (Red Tyrant), it looks like it would be a major PITA to try to farm there. I'll try tomorrow when servers come back up, maybe see if you can do it without triggering the cutscene... but it doesn't look like it.

      Keep in mind too, you have a chance of getting Jelly Tissue and Broken Hand Bones at Blood Prince (which are actually useful) rather than total crap drops from the White Tyrant one. So... that combined with fine iron and gold ore, I really think it makes it a lot better to farm.

      I have no problems mining with the Red Bearer following me. It saves a bit of time as it doesn't matter if you almost die or not.
      Also, you may want to mention the Erg Pot in Blood Prince, gives a chance for some other drops.

      Yeah, I don't have a problem with leaving him alive either. But, I wanted to post the easiest methods possible for this. It'd be unfortunate if you got a silver ore then accidentally got killed by him. :P

      Fair enough, though I'd think people would be competent enough by the time they're Lv. 31 and are in need of the Blood Prince set.

      oh i see, didn't know the nodes in blood prince gives more ores than the ones in white tyrant

      Fine Iron Ores would be a lot more useful after the next level cap raise.
      Another type of ore needs 4 Fine Iron Ores to craft, so it's a good idea to save a ton of them.
