I felt the same thing, was too... erm, buttony, O_O I dunno. Progression felt too boring. And you couldn't really go ahead and explore much until you played 24 months. I remembered about you wanting to try EVE because I been playing Frontier: First Encounters O3O Which is probably the best space sim game to date!
