I wish I could say. Considering how many episodes it is per season, they might do more. (since most shows last at-least 2-4 seasons, but around 10+ episodes per season)

It's been a big hit so far from what I can see. Especially in America. I'm kind of hoping they'll extend it to at-least 4 seasons, but I think as long as they give it a good enough ending, I'll be content with it.

Even knowing full well there is going to be a 3rd season, I couldn't help but get kind of emotional. Seeing Sherlock crying and John struggling to say 'goodbye' was just.. dayummm.

I can't wait to see what cases they'll bring next season. Whenever that may be.

Well, if you've liked all the prior episodes, you'll probably love season 2. I won't spoil anything but the way the pool scene ends? Beyond unpredicted.
