Complete Topaz Set

Being the cheap noob that I am, I think a full topaz set is a good idea. I just need to level exploration to 12 every time I rebirth. The -5 Will doesn't really matter, right?
Any thoughts?

It'll matter once it adds up.
Will affects the player's chance of going Deadly, as well as increasing Critical and Wound rates.
Every 10 Will adds +1.0% to Critical.

Depends on what weapons you use.

I swing from 150+ will to 0 during pot poison and I don't notice anything.

I think it's a good trade off. Make sure you have 30% crit for wm and you're set.

Then again I can't remember the last time I had to roll for deadly, is there a formula for this?

If you get to 0 will, the only crit you'll get is from Luck, Weapons, and Enchants. Assuming you're a free rebirther and that you use the Bear/Golem Slayer in a Single Blow title, you'll probably have 0 Luck. If your weapons and enchants give good crit, you'll be fine. With your current set, you'll probably have enough crit to crit Ciar Basic/Int monsters, but maybe not enough to do the same with Shadow Mission monsters.

Kind of irrelevant. Unless you have a low-hp build or really high PD, most mobs will hit you more than one time when they hit you.

My advice is to not use topaz for everything.
Find alternatives if possible. Topaz the rest when alternatives cannot be found.
Allow some variation like Stiff tail cap + thief (effectively giving you +12% critical).

Why not quartz set? it gives same dmg, and decreases LUCK, if you're a free rber as Chillax said, it wouldnt matter if you decreased your luck seeing you already have 0. Plus you only need level 8 Explore :D
