Paladin Wings Make Sense...

Yeah. The armor is actually 'unofficial colors'. I haven't decided what color scheme to give her since I wanted to move away from Black/Purple and Black/Red. Most of her armor is leather anyway...



This is the original PSD file and pencil drawing of her character design where I pulled the colors from... I so need to finish this.

In-game Rui has a side-tail. In the story she starts out with a side-tail but loses it later on, hence why her hairstyle is different from the original design in the little doodle up top.

Armor is based off of Tioz armor in-game.

I actually didn't know what to do about that arm and how I would chibi-fy it, really...

The computer drawing's really nice, it looks a lot better when it's more menacing than a chibi xD. The pencil drawing looks a bit stiff in the arms, but I love the way you draw, it's so.. I dunno. I just fail at clothes most of the time.

I'm just thinking of scrapping the drawing all together and making a new one of this character. The drawings do seem stiff and slightly off the proportions I really want.

Rui is supposed to be a smaller kid... A very... menacing kid. Not so much a young adult.

Actually Chickens can fly, just not very far ^_^ The reason chickens at farms don't fly away at farms are that their wings are clipped ^_^

Penguins, emus, and ostriches would be a better example.
