after trying pally, I made a mage, and was blown away at how easy mage was in comparison.
thats just ease of course. pally is one badass mothereffer

Seems like mages are the best class but whatever, it's like that in most RPG's that aren't Mabinogi. I've always been a support/melee/tank guy and I'm happy to see the pally is that and more.

Same. I've always been support in one way or another which is why I chose it. As long as you have good teammates..

How common were acrobats in the game?

all classes were common, but there was definitely more mages than anything else.
I don't remember that well, honestly. But it seemed everyone I saw was either a mage or a warrior, acrobats a close third.
