Really nice guide :) But the problem is that even though I know how to dodge the spider's attack, I'm too focused on dodging that I don't know how to strike in a nice attack or critical. Any tips on how you do this?
Might want to mention the rank level of Skills required to make it easier. In the video you had R9+ Fury Infusion allowing you to Infuse during attacking. Excellent guide otherwise.

Most of the dodges, such as the 45 degree dash smash, are just counterattacks. So getting a critical off of those would allow you to get a gliding fury in. As for the others, same concept really. Right after the dodge, simply go for either a short Dash Smash > Gliding Fury or, if you believe you have enough time, LR for a higher chance of critical. The timing part however, you'll have to get from experience :P.

"I've probably spent over 200k in armor repair fees perfecting the solo if it makes you feel any better ._.". You aren't to fast for my eyes. I'm a Sword Lann and I barely come out alive after soloing him. And you're a Spear Lann you dodge him like he's nothing.
Learned something watching the vid. I knew that I could Fury cancel into normal attacks and other smashes, never occurred to me that I could do it into sprint smash. Awesome vid, will definitely help out new, aspiring spear Lanns.
And of course, once an hour, just transform and spin2win the whole time. Very nice guide though.
I tried doing that the other day and spin2win doesn't seem to KB spider anymore.
Great job by the way, pretty quick run and the video really did show when to dodge where for all of the attacks. I use spears to solo for fun sometimes and I just dash smash out of the spider's attacking range (when it's about to strike). A lot more inefficient than what you showed in the video, but it still works.
