I think another possible newbie money making method, particularly for melee chars who need STR, is to rank Carpentry, assuming there's a buyer. Rank F to Rank 5 is pure profit without having to buy a thing, and assuming the market holds up you'll make 500k a day minimum. Personally I recommend at least R9 Carpentry for virtually every build; the ability to make your own Fine Firewood, or even Finest Firewood, is very beneficial.

How much do the Homestead seeds sell for? I'm curious (going to start this plan tomorrow, so I can also offer feedback to skeptics), because I had never thought of it as a viable way to make cash.

Also, which ones are best-selling/most popular for people to buy?

The homestead seeds, especially pumpkin, are valuable.
Strawberries, no.

However, once everyone hits lvl 11 farm the price will definitely start to drop.

I could also do a little blurb on Holy Waters, highlighting how to do both the Dunby and Quilla PTJ in one Mabinogi day.
Because, if the Homestead seeds fail, i'll probably spam HW since prices are through the roof.

First, homestead seeds are NEVER on sale. Just try buying them. The most valuable seeds will be based on how much exp they give.



Strawberry seeds would only be about 1-2k each or 10-20k a stack.
Tomato 2-3k Each.
Eggplant 5-6k Each
Cabbage 10k Each
Pumpkin 20k Each

Its not a huge moneymaker but if your selling them someone will buy since...you can never find them when you want them.

And as I wrote in the guide you should be doing this for 3 alts a day maximizing thier stead growth. At minimum you should have 2 stacks a day to sell of seeds your not using. Mostly depends on luck. in 10 days a new player should reasonably have 500k+ in the bank doing this.

Holywater is still a great way to make money for new players as well as farming.

You're wasting your homestead stones if you can plant pumpkin instead.
Pumpkins take longer to grow, but that's not the point. They give more homestead exp.

Grow the kon adding plants for the 40 homestead exp per day.
Plant pumpkins or cabbages only for best effect when possible.
Have plenty of luck from temporary food effects or luck set/title.

By the way, I suggest only 1 homestead per account - main character only. You can't use the main character to pluck herbs from the alternate characters on the same account, that's not possible. If you are planning to learn herbalism on the alternate characters too, that's ok.

If you main a human your giant and elf can get herbalism easymode. Just talk to 1 person and boom you got it. The as yuo plant herbs you can rank the herbalism and get herbs for your main. :D
