While it is true in some case, it isn't in other case.

Some people will also choose to not buy the game to begin with. They might want to play it but if they can't have it free, they will not buy it either. For these people.. that they either
A) Do not buy the game.
or
B) Get a copy of the game.

It doesn't really change anything for the makers.. either way they make no money. The only different is, in Case B, atleast one person is happy.
