Acquiring large quantities of wood

As everyone knows, gathering wood is very tedious, especially if you are training barrier spike, carpentry, or really like wood. So here is a simple guide on how to gather wood:

Step 1: buy a gathering axe form one of the following npcs: Elen Ferghus, Shenon, Nicca, Myrddin, Waboka, Courcle Native at Rafting Start Dock,Nerys,Royal Supply Guard, Kayna, Osla, Meles, Taunes, Elf Supply Guard, Giant Supply Guard, Colm.

Step 2: go up to the nearest tree.

Step 3: keep clicking it until it run out of wood.

Step 4: find another tree.

Step 5: repeat.

And that concludes this guide on how to get wood.

…… just kidding, that would be very inefficient, why chop wood when you can kill monsters instead?

Now this way needs a bit of work and resources, but will pay off in the long run.

You will need to be able to play on an alt while using your main, or have someone log in as an alt for you. The person gathering the wood needs to be able to deal 600 damage in a short time with normal attacks or range attack/Ar.

If you can do the both above, then you are set, oh and have alot of inv/pet space.

First you must make an alt and finish G1 all the way until Albey Goddess dungeon, on the 6th floor of Albey Goddess right before Glas Ghaibhleann there will be a chest with a goddess pass, have the alt pick up that pass and exit the dungeon. Do not kill Glas unless the alt has already left the dungeon, or the goddess pass will be useless and you have to do G1 all over again. Now that you have the goddess pass you can pay a friendly visit to Glas whenever you want!

The goddess dungeon is very short, its only I floor and contains only 1 room and the boss room,the first room will have a chest with the boss key and a goddess pass, again pick up the pass with the alt and open the boss room, you will then have to kill the Dark lord so Glas will spawn. Once you killed the dark lord and Glas spawns, its recommended that you logout of the alt so you won’t have to worry about accidently killing Glas and rendering the goddess pass useless. (If the alt logs out before you kill the dark lord, Glas will not spawn, instead you will get a mission fail cutscene).

Once Glas spawns, you must lure it into the corridor, the best way to do this would be firebolt for humans/giants as you can knock him back if he gets too close, and mounted archery for elves (be sure to not do too much damage). when Glas is in the corridor it should be stuck and unable to move, now you can go back to the boss room and kill the Light Gargoyle Glas summoned, notice that each Gargoyle drops about one stack of wood? Yep that is how this is going to work.

After you killed all the Gargoyles in the boss room go back to Glas and make a campfire behind/beside him, and use rock throwing at him to make him summon more Gargoyles. The numbers of Gargoyle he summons depends of how much space is available, so if you don’t think you can handle so many at once try luring Glas to a smaller corner.

One Gargoyle in each spawn will always drop a seal scroll, you should burn it to gain 100% protection so you will only take 1 damage form the attacks. The rest will drop wood. Happy picking!

As you can see, i managed to get 24 stacks of wood in 7 minutes, if you weren't as ~~fail~~ lazy as me you could get even more wood in that time, but i believe we can all agree its much faster than chopping wood.

Also here is how i started, i was gonna record the whole run but it randomly stopped after 4 minutes, that's nexon technology for you.....

TL;DR version

1. Do G1 and get the goddess pass in albey on an alt.
2. Have the alt drop you in Glas boss room.
3. Kill dark lord.
4. ~~Save the world~~ lure Glas in to the hallway.
5. Set up a camp fire near him.
6. Throw rocks at him and call him names.
7. Kill the Gargoyles he summons.
8. Burn the seal scrolls the Gargoyles drop to stay alive.
9. Collect the woods Gargoyles drop.
10. Invade Canada for more wood.
