i didn't like project nevada that much besides the fact it added sprinting and a grenade hotkey

HOWCANYOUNOTLIKEPROJECTNEVADAD:
Rebalance makes the game more challenging in a fun way.
The core mod adds cool immersion stuff, makes hardcore mode even better and hotkeys like you mentioned.
And I personally love the cyberware add-on, makes implants more fun.
I can't play without Project Nevada º3º

Project Nevada is awesome, I use just the core one though. Love the night vision.
For better graphics I suggest all the mods I listed in this thread:

The next time I start playing again (probably after I stop being addicted to minecraft, and later skyrim) I'm going to look into the mod that merges the Fallout 3 map to NV.

The Cat has a crappy PC.
BOSS Reorganizes your load order, mostly used to make mods less crashy and stuff, although I wouldn't recommend you to rely on this completely when reorganizing your load order.
Oh, I think cat should get these mods. Most of these require New Vegas Script Extender, and make sure to install the compatibility patches for any of the mods that conflict with each other, the patches should be at the download section and is usually under the Optionals section.
- NV Error Corrections - Reduces CTDs
- Weapon Mods Expanded(WMX) - MORE MODIFICATIONS FOR WEAPOOONNNSSSS
- Project Nevada - A MUST HAVE
- Project Reality - Makes the weather look a lot better and act more naturally. You can choose between this or Nevada, however this mod also improves the sound and lighting.
- Mod Configuration Menu - You're going to need this for a lot of mods that I'm going to recommend to you.
- Quick Trade Lets you open the barter menu by right clicking on an NPC.
- Pipware Makes that "Status" part of your Pip-Boy look better (In my opinion).
- Random Encounters - Lets you meet more special enemies and stuff like that.
- Light Step ED-E - Makes the flying robot companion thing more realistic and not trigger every fricken landmine.
- Operation Fixed Terrain - Makes the terrain less... ****ty
- Rust Town - Adds an interesting town to the game...
- Darnified UI - Install this first OR MTUI
- Unified HUD Project - Install this last if you plan to install other HUDs mod
- Immersive HUD - Makes your HUD only show if you really need it. Like, your ammo counter won't show unless you take out your gun and stuff like that.
- Adjustable Hud Lets you move parts of your hud around just in case you don't like how they are arranged.
