Sorry, it's not really worth the exclamation point...certainly not two...

Due to some signatures being unpleasantly large, either in literal size or file size, we putting some rules into place to warn users to avoid this. Most members will not be affected, though all would do well to keep these in mind in the future.

Signature Rules

• Images should be 250px or less in height unless contained in spoiler tags.
• Total signature size should not exceed 300px height.
• Total signature file size should not exceed 1.5MB.

Just to clarify, both for you and everyone who may wonder, signatures cannot be over 300px high. This includes text and pictures.

So my re-read understanding was correct. I just got confused as size is a fairly vague word.
Also, does this mean that the current settings for setting a maximum height for signatures will be removed, seeing as how enforcing these new rules would make those redundant?

now I'm never going to fit my chibi in my signature. Also, 250px is a bit small. The usual height is around 300px on other forums.

Also, since mods can't really go one by one on the users, use the report function on any user that still has to make the necessary changes to the signatures so we can redirect them here.

We are not going to hammer down on people for now, we'll give time to adjust, meaning if we see someone that doesn't fit the regulation we will let them know, and expect them to change the signature as needed. After about a week or so we will start editing signatures ourselves when spotted.
