Joined a Lionotus run. The title of it was No Lanns, must have pf. So I see that the second person was a Lann, but his attack was over 12k, so he was allowed to stay. Another Lann joined a moment later, but he was kicked because his attack wasn't high enough. So I decided to take a look at the party leader's attack...10k.
Then, as we were staring, the leader said "None of you better leave halfway through lol"
One person left when all but one person was dead, and I don't think the person's character had even left the battle yet when the leader herself quit.

I just can't help but laugh at this Fiona right now.

I just had the host of a 6 Man Lionotus leave 50 minutes in.
Sad part? There was a Sword Lann who was doing pretty well (3-4 deaths only) and I was on a no death run (and still had 3 pieces of armor).

The 3 Evies and the other Lann sort of spent most of the time dead.

Lionotus does not like evies, every time he aggros me he just keeps on going at me till i am dead. and evies can't survive for long against him.

10k attack? Sounds to me like this Fiona has a problem. And Lanns don't exactly "suck" in Lionotus, his combos are just seemingly designed to take more than a slip dash to dodge.

Running Lionotus, 30 minutes in-ish, when 2 Evies and a Fiona disconnected.

Had a fun time soloing him after that.

Meh, host gets to make his own rules, since it's his boat. People are willing to put up with a bit more crap if the host can actually host an 8-man well, since good hosts are few and far in between when your only source of daily raid parties are PUGs.

Oh, and, in a Lionotus party that abuses the cliff, high ATT really won't matter as much. Honestly, I'm under the suspicion that a Fiona with a +0 Crimson Longblade Sword or w/e could probably still net #1 damage in damage just by getting the last knockdown hit to push Lionotus over the ledge thanks to Shield Bash each time.

For Lanns it can be since their weapons can run on the expensive side and have lower ATT. Pretty sure twin swords have the lowest base ATT of all the characters' weapons.

I'm a staff Evie an I only have like 11k attack. Level 65 too :C

Its like saying everyone in mabi has a +4 r type fully upgraded
It does take some effort and cash if you plan to enchant/upgrade

Still don't need +10s for current raids (most Ep 9 raids supposedly have around 9.6k DEF). Could get by with +8 depending on weapon/character.

You might need +10s for Hero mode boat 6+ but that's basically endgame so of course you need endgame gear to match.
