D&D Event! - The Setting Poll! (Time limit is until Monday 9th!)
Ok guys! I think we got enough people to start preparing to get started on maybe playing!!
I'd just like to say again that I preffer the Dragon Age setting because I feel that I could DM that one, otherwise you'd have to try to peer preasure me (67% chance of success!) into doing it.
I'll just be putting up some options where I see a good D&D game could be played and the Forgotten Realm setting (The official D&D setting world thingy) that is made by the people (Wizards of the Coast) who made D&D so if we use that one we could use the modules and campaign books that come with.
If you have any suggestions you can just write'em down here and we'll take it from there!
So let the voting begin!

I agree with this 100%. I think it would be also better for people who are new to this kind of stuff, that way we know how everything works.
In the end it's your decision, but I'm going to vote for Forgotten Realms. It's not to say I'm not interested in a Dragon Age setting, because I am.
Just maybe in the future :p
Just my two cents :D

I am derp and sad Dx! I was hoping people would vote for Dragon Age!
So... What if I used modules that came from the Dragon Age RPG set? There are a couple of those! And I've read almost all the way through it a couple of times!

I'm sorry!
It's not a lack of confidence in your abilities, it's just I think a normal-ish game will work well with most people. Think of it as a trial-run. Maybe do Forgotten realms for like a month or two - then you can create your Dragon Age encounter/setting.
I still would like to do Dragon Age, just not right now. So please?

Well, the made up ones are usually the best because unexpected stuff can and does happen, but some of the premade one are good. Especially for a beginner group like this. Lol.

We could always just add our own stuff too as we play if the DM sees it fit
