No idea. As far as I know they just move up to the next person if you didn't show up... there;s always people waiting.

Why would it be different in canada? o -o

I think they charge you if you don't call in and say you won't be there.
I know for sure they do that at my dentist. I'm like 80% sure they do at the clinic I go to too. (Lolnofamilydoctor)
In Ontario btw

The only time I'd be charged is if I actually change a scheduled appointment for whatever reason there is. It also applies if I cancel an appointment with them as well. This is my family doctor.
If I miss it? I have no clue, I've never missed an appointment once in my life.

Good sir, in the land of Canada, they have an amazing thing called centralized health care.
Well, depends on how you look at it.

What's a family doctor?
/doesn't do yearly check-ups.

Do you mean private or candana health care
Prive doctors may or may not charge depends whos running the show
Public doctors you would have to ask your fellow candaians
Chockeh family doctors are your standard check up doctors
the ones you would take a little kid to see if there sick or something then they write you a ref to a specalist if neccesary
Logistical superiority, Leadership and Skill is how you win
