Do you guys prevent your Pokemon from evolving so it learns some of its moves earlier, or let it evolve and just learn it later?
Yes=I do prevent them.
No=I let them evolve.
Yes
No
Better poll would've been 'earlier' or 'later' instead of 'y/n' but that's okay.
I don't stop them from evolving, except for Roselia -> Roserade, because Roselia is the one that learns all the moves.
Most of the time I don't care much about when it learns its moves. I've always used the Elite Four as a leveling source so it's not really that hard to learn moves later, anyways.
For me, it's later, unless I want to have move-sets that were from its previous evolutions.
I've never stopped any of mine from evolving.
the cat never stopped the pokemon the cat has from evolving
mainly because the cat gets them all to 100 with all the moves the cat wants
Spoiler:
I let them evolve RIGHT away because they still will learn the same move later anyway, or can be learned from Move Tutor if there's any exculusive moves that the pre-evo only can learn.
Depends, since some evolutions can't actually learn the moves from the previous one unless by TM/HM/Tutor.
But I usually let the nature take its course~
