The whole gang enters into a dark room, finally bypassing the engraved door thanks to Trista’s intervention. Pillars and columns dot the interior of the room in irregular patterns. Raised dias emits faint illumination, enough to strike it as noticeable in the darkness, but not enough to help the team find their way.
Eventually, a plan is devised so that they can reach the middle of the room without getting lost. Whenever a pillar is reached, the group will turn either right or left at a right angle and continue. The group has opted to not risk traveling along the walls, so if they reach a wall, they will backtrack and return to the start.
The exclamation mark is the dias, which, because of the steps leading up, must be reached from above. What is the path that the team takes? X's are where pillars are (turn left or right) O's are blanks (move forward and do not turn).

Hint 1: The dias' space may not be entered from the sides or from the bottom. Only the space adjacent and above it has stairs.

Hint 2: Working backwards might prove useful.

Hint 3: If just working backwards isn't enough, try working from both ends at the same time. At that point it should be clear the path that you need.

You can either describe the directions, or make a copy of the image and draw the path.

After stumbling around in the dark, the team reaches the top of the dias.
There is a peculiar machine atop the dias that uses a kind of odd battery labeled with a three digit number.
“Oh bother!” exclaims Mika’s friend as he rummages through his bag, “I’ve put the caps on these batteries all wrong!”

There is one digit on the battery’s cap and the other two on the body. Find the battery you need if:
-None of the batteries currently wear the correct cap.
-All of the batteries contain a 1 somewhere in the label.
-The battery you need is right of the battery that owns the 3 cap.

Hint 1: The fact that two of the caps have labels of 2 is the key.

Hint 2: The label is the part referred to in the first statement. Simply switching the positions of both 2 caps doesn't count.

The peculiar machine whirrs to life upon the insertion of the correct battery. It was quite odd in comparison to much of the technology that Trista was used to seeing around the city, which ran mostly on steam and mechanical power.
“This device runs on some form of energy that the ancients used,” Mika explained, “they called it ‘electricity’.”
Nodes of strange gems began to illuminate with a gentle blue glow, but after a few moments there was a strange sound crackling, and a miniature bolt of lightning sparked out, startling both Trista and Mika’s friend to the ground. When the display was over, the light of the nodes was a dull red, which soon faded away altogether.
“It’s just like the legendary Tesla coil,” Trista marveled, recalling stories of such wonders. She remembered visiting a museum and viewing an actual tesla coil, however, that one was long out of commision.
After regaining his composure, Mika’s friend jumped up an lamented the brilliant spark, which was apparently a bad thing. “Oh no, oh bother,” he repeated, “Now how are we to get this working again?”
Trista peered over his fretful shoulder and saw the exposed insides of the device. Mika leaned in her ear and told her, “To make the device work, the electricity had to be channeled through special paths they called circuits.”
“Yes,” Mika’s friend announced, not bothering to look at the pair, “and none of the circuits may connect with another, or else tragedies like this will happen! Something must have happened over the years that allowed a short circuit to form, possibly moisture build up, or...” he continued to mutter various possibilities to himself before continuing. “Now I have to rebuild all the circuits by hand. How on earth am I supposed to know how this thing looked like while it was functional?”
Trista looked again and saw grooves in the device for wires to be placed, and saw the exposed nodes to be connected.
The displayed nodes (A-F) are parts of circuits for the peculiar machine. The Machine must connect each of the nodes to its counterpart, but none of the circuits may touch, intersect, or cross one another. Draw a line from each lettered node to its counterpart, without touching any other lines.

Hint 1: You do not need to use every intersection. Some intersections will remain empty.

Hint 2: The shortest path should be D's. The longest should be C's.

Quite the opposite, each one needs to bend at least once. But they each need to trace the grey lines. Stepping into the white area is not allowed.

After Trista helped fix the circuitry, two square-shaped receptacles open. As if he knew what he was doing, Mika’s friend reaches into his bag and pulls out two cubes.
When she saw the defeat flash over his face, Trista interrupts. “Don’t say it! Don’t bother saying it. Something is wrong and you need my help to fix it. Just tell me what it is and let’s get this over with.”
“Well,” the friend starts after a brief pause to realize what just happened, “I need to input some numbers using these two cubes, only I brought the wrong cube by mistake, and one of the numbers is off.”
The numbers 1-32 need to be displayed on a pair of cubes.
1-9 must be proceeded by a 0
The following layout for the cubes was drawn, but there is a single error. Correct it.

Hint 1: The two cubes do not have to always be in the same slots. They can be rotated and alternated as needed to produce all the necessary numbers.
