Dear Players,

For some time now the Dragon Nest team has been aware of player interest in merging the game’s servers. Based on that feedback, we have decided to combine the East and West servers, respectively. We believe that allowing more players to share the same world will create a richer community and a better overall game experience.

Some important details regarding the merge:

• You will not lose your server identity!
• The game’s login screen will not be changing. The server on which you created your character from the World List will remain your server.
• After you log in, the only difference you will notice is that you will be able to play with players from both original servers.

We are creating this server alliance to help players participate in bigger community activities and give all players a richer, more community-oriented experience. Players who enjoy a more individual experience will find nothing has changed save that they will have more options when they do decide to partner up.

When will the server alliance happen?

The server alliance will be implemented during a future maintenance. To ensure a smooth and safe transition process, the alliance may be implemented at different times for the East and West. Eventually though, both sets of servers will be merged.

Will I lose some of the friends I’ve made on my current server?

No! The server alliance will not change any character’s home server. Your friends and guild will still be residents of your original server. The sole difference is that all characters from the West worlds (Elena and Velskud) will begin playing in a single world. This will also happen for the East worlds (Gerrant and Argenta). Rather than losing friends, this will be an opportunity to make new ones!

How will this change the way I login and play?

There will be virtually no difference in your play experience. All worlds will continue to exist after the alliance and a character created on that server will remain a resident of that server. All worlds will also continue to be available on the World List on the login screen. You will continue to log in as you always have. The only difference is that players from Elena and Velskud will now be able to fully interact with each other. The same goes for players from Gerrant and Argenta.

How will this affect PvP?

In order to make ladder rankings fair for both joined servers, ladder points will be reset when the server alliance occurs. Other than that, the only effect on PvP is that there will be more players to fight with.

lol you know they're only doing this because allot of ppl stopped playing it after so long (time of release) to now...that or their cutting back even more (which is like Nexon) cause they want to save more money .....

People would rage because they're getting world transfers for free when people bought them originally at $20. Plus the markets would be destroyed since they're all different with different influxes of gachapwn stuff.
