Being discontinued doesn't mean it can't be fun anymore. D:
Sure there wont be new content update but at least people can still pick it up and enjoy it. Not like if mmorpg (without private servers) close down.

OK after seeing star-bound, I feel a lot better.

It's kinda funny seeing those screen shots of the game, people in outer space. It
sounds like one of those updates we were told they were planning before.
I suppose after re-reading though red's current life situation it's not wounder he bailed on us.
But, I merely see this new incantation as a bigger and better version of the first one, let's hope I'm right.
And I want them to keep it sandbox to.

yeah I'm going to assume Starbound is going to be the successor to Terraria

Pretty depressing. They are working on Starbound now though, which so far looks like a Terraria Look-alike. I was soooo waiting for more updates too.... Oh well... :/

With a player base as large as Terraria's that grew this much in 1 year, and to have updates that are 6 months appart, you'd expect people to be pissed.

Terraria isin't a mmo though you don't pay to play this game.
After everyone who like the game bough it, the guy don't make money anymore.

I think Terraria is a complete game and for the low price of 10$ ( sometimes 2,50 on steam) Its really cheap.

If you want more content, there is mods.
