Terraria developer abandons his game.

Terraria isin't a mmo though you don't pay to play this game.
After everyone who like the game bough it, the guy don't make money anymore.

I think Terraria is a complete game and for the low price of 10$ ( sometimes 2,50 on steam) Its really cheap.

If you want more content, there is mods.

The modding community for Terraria is nearly non-existent. At least, that is going by the official forums.

For the people saying he's left the game to die: No. He didn't, stop making it sound like he suddenly stopped caring just because he's not going to give out updates every two months. You paid all of ten dollars or less for a game, stop complaining. He wants to spend time with his family and get to know them-which a lot of you seem to be overlooking. Yes, how dare he want to have a good family life that's so wrong of him. I think he has more of an obligation to his family than he does to a bunch of random players.

I don't think this guy is working on that new project, but the guy that did the graphics for Terraria is. Terraria isn't a one man project.
