Most redirect viruses/malware tend to edit host configuration files. I forgot where its location in System32 sadly.

For issues regarding newer forms of malware, I wouldn't recommend regular scanners anymore since they're only detecting signature-based threats and cannot do much for rootkit viruses.

I'll try to search for fixes when I get back, but for now I'll need to ask some questions:

Is it only from one web browser you are getting this issue?

How frequent does it re-direct you?

Are you still able to access other webpages?
