He sorta does, I guess. Oh, and thanks~ I don't know what I should draw next, the concept art for her house, or a sketch of another scene.

I'd say the house, that way you have the concept for it down.
Sexiness drawn by Coy~

Looking pretty good so far. As for Ramses, I don't know... He could be a figment of the mc's imagination and he can guide her around?

That's what I was originally going to do, being something of that like the Chesire Cat in Alice The Madness Returns, but I wanted to make Ramses more of an antagonist and have creatures like him. A minor idea I had was that one of the elements of the gameplay was avoiding those creatures which represented something of some sort and were only destroyed by completeing a puzzle. I don't know if I should scrap that idea, seeing how there's currently little motivation behind it and I might try something different. I'm in a mix of trying to have an antagonistic figure appear now and then, or have something antagonistic show up and stay completely. I'm not going to have Ramses be the one who burns the old house down in the "The Walls are Breaking Down" scene, because I've already personified Mindy's subconscious as a dark figure that only appears in the background of a person's reflection.

Chesire cat is exactly the kinda creature I was thinking about. I don't feel like the whole avoiding creatures thing would be a good idea either. It worked for Amnesia, but I don't know if it would be good for the game you're trying to make. Making it seem like a single creature stalking Mindy for whatever reason seems like a good idea.

You have an interesting point. I like what you're thinking and maybe Ramses can represent some kind of dark emotion or feeling, perhaps a resentment of some sort? It stalks her because it's always with her and she always feels that way. Another idea brought up from this is that there's a deeper meaning to each memory, which is why the current Mindy wants to preserve the house before her subconscious destroys it.

Hmm... Perhaps he can be the personification of all the anxiety she experiences from losing her memories or all the suffering she went through from the situation before she lost her memories. It gives me an idea in which you should definitively not take seriously because it's just me having fun imagining things. Mindy created Ramses (like an imaginary friend) to ease the pain she suffered through from her abusive father. Ramses use to be a cute little creature, but all that changed during the car crash. He fused with all those bad memories and became something demonic. I'm just going to stop here. xD

Actually, the way I was going with this is that Ramses is a demonic figure which represents her resentment and Ramses will be the final boss when once defeated, it's like getting over something and saying that "It happened, get over it, start a new life and be a new person". By defeating Ramses, she's letting go of a grudge she's had against her father and she's moving on. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but it was something I was thinking of.

It is a good idea. The idea of overcoming the rage and resentment she felt towards her father sounds pretty great. It reminds me of this:

Mindy's House:

I wanted it to look like an ordinary house, and not anything really special. I'm working on the inside design soon.

And a WIP on another scene.
