Making the most of the VIP inventory without having premium service

Let's say you bought VIP or Premium service and its about to expire, but you don't want to spend money on more service because let's face it times are tough. Does this mean that your VIP inventory tab just has to become dead weight until you decide to give Nexon more money? Actually the answer to that is no. The VIP tab can still be useful after you lose service because you can still use items in it.

Yes the items in your VIP tab are not locked away forever, at least some of them are not. As it turns out, skills that require items don't care where those items are located or if those items are locked, this includes hidden skills as well. What does this mean for you? Well it means that you can use holy water, Phoenix feathers, bandages and sketch paper even when they are locked in the VIP tab. And that's just what I was able to test. There is a good chance that you can use alchemy crystals and paper airplanes from the locked VIP tab as well.

If you right click on holy water in your VIP tab and use it, you can bless your items. So fill up your VIP tab before it expires.

This also applies to campfires. (the wood to burn can be in locked inv)

And you might be able to retrieve some items by enchanting them with an elemental.... I'll have to look more closely into that part of it.

Now if only there was a way to get equipment out of there.

Alchemy Crystals can be used from a locked VIP tab as well, I tested this on my alch elf alt that had a VIP tab full of crystals before the free VIP ran out.

i think, not 100% certain, but u can also buy alchm bag fill them with crystals then stick them in ur vip tab and still use those crystals even after ur service dies

if u can use crystals in vip tab, y not use them inside a alchm bag in the vip tab 8D?

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm fairly certain that you cannot open nor access the alchemist bag unless you have premium service.

If you drop phoenix feathers/bandages/whatever on the floor and pick it up, does it go into your VIP inv even if its locked?

You can't even put any bags whatsoever in VIP inventory.
