Quite sad, but I'm not going to go and say that KFC is a horrible business because of this. Yes, they deserved to win the suit, as it was the fault of the restaurant, but an isolated incident like this doesn't mean it's a horrible and unsafe place to eat. Any place could accidentally undercook chicken, including people at home. Once again, I am by no means saying that they shouldn't have sued or won the case.

I've actually gotten sick from eating KFC a few years ago... now I try to completely avoid it, but my dad still enjoys it so sometimes I'm forced to eat it -.-

I've actually never been to KFC either.

Then again I'm vegetarian so D: I wouldn't have much reason to be there to begin with. I have quite a few friends who enjoy their food though.

That aside, it's sad that there's cases that slip through like this. T__T I remember being in a wheelchair when I was younger for a time and normal things people take for granted are extremely trying on someone confined to one, I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for someone with brain damage as well. I really wish the best for her and her family in the future. ; ;

I can't comment much on the 8.3M only that I hope KFC will do whatever they can after this incident to prevent it in the future. (if such improvements can be reinforced more than they already are)

8M is a lot, but they will probably only get it in small increments as usual. So as not to spend it all I believe.

Wouldn't matter to me since I would never spend like any of it... but yeah I hear many people go whack with money the moment they get their hands on it and lose it all very fast.

Anyways, the family is probably going to get disability checks from the government too...
