GunZ was filled with hackers, but before that (during 2004-2007), it was relatively very fun and competitive with legitimate players. The gameplay was very refreshing and fun.
This I can agree with. I also played it from launch and it was rather fun at first.

This I don't agree with. It seems to me that almost as soon as Evie came out, people forgot that they can heal themselves with potions. Yes, it takes some timing and consideration of what the boss is doing at the moment and your position relative to the boss, but so does anything you do during a boss fight. I'm sure it's possible though difficult to complete the dragon without any "healers."
I'm still not quite sure what you mean by dedicated healer. Are you talking about an Evie who only joins the party to throw down coronas and then rejoins to eliminate the cooldown? Even then, people would have to wait a long while before they could use the corona again. Or is it one that spends all their time in the shelter simply dropping corona every chance they get? Corona only heals up to 5 people, and plenty more than that fit into a dragon raid.
I'm still confused about your stance on Vindictus. Is it an "absurdly easy game with mindless click action" where you're "good to go" having a healer, or does it require "dedicated healers" to revive you "when you die" (cause it's sure to happen a lot)?
For the record (my opinion): Vindictus does not require "healers," but it's not a cakewalk or clickfest either.
Also, @Cucurbita:
Couldn't you have found some better examples for solos? That Vindictus one was extremely dull (though all the solo videos tend to become repetitive). I kept waiting for her to swing her hammer, but all she did was heavy stander everything until she had enough SP for the shield charge.
Yeah Elumi, I would like to know what you meant by dedicated healer in Vindictus, haha. You can't get healed more than once per like, 3 minutes was it? The whole team could be made of evies and they could all die because of the corona cooldown.
@whocares
Speed run of weeping queen fiona solo
Speed run of thor lann lance solo
Last I played people considered these bosses extremely difficult even during a raid. Gear is irrelevant (except for speed and certain proc enchants) as if you can last 15 minutes you can last an hour and therefore dps doesn't mean much towards how well you play.
Vindictus is a pretty skill based game, though players usually don't feel it until around level 60 and many don't ever make it that far. Game is snooze easy up until the first real annoying BAMs like Klaus.
Edit: Interestingly enough, I prefer soloing BAM's because as difficult as they are, they're far more predictable if you solo them as their aggro will be focused purely on you.
The thing comes from speed running and just dishing out damage and dodging with groups (you guys know of this already, just doing it to perfection). Dodging is pretty easy, especially having played MH (Including the PS2 versions on PC using emu) and plenty of other action games. The idea is that we all play with the mindset of trying not to get hit even once (calling the HP bar the Screw-Up Counter). Though at the time I left Vindictus, Evie just came out for two weeks.
Maybe I should record some Vindictus gameplay once I get the new harddrive for my desktop to show what I mean. (My current HDD is currently failing to write since its needle is now dull. Slow speeds makes for bad quality and gameplay)
And yes, GW2 is for teamplay. A game of close-knit community.
I'm not sure whether to play Guild Wars 2 or not. I've become very accostumed to Vindictus' gameplay and have never played a click and wait mmo, but...so much hype!!!
I'm so sad to see that all of you quit Vindi though ;-;

Wait, the last time you played was when evie first came out?! O_O. . .Can I take it that you've played since then? If not, well. . .
You fools would dare to challenge the king of light and darkness? So you choose to do and so you shall feel my wrath!
Though at the time I left Vindictus, Evie just came out for two weeks.
Evie has changed significantly. She no longer combo smashes like other characters. Left click casts magic missile, and right click opens up an interface for spell selection where you can charge up any accessible spells.
Healing has been changed so that you can no longer directly aim aim at a character. You leave down a circle which will heal other players when they touch it, and it only works 3 (or 4 was it?) times, and expires shortly. Not only is this skill on a HUGE cooldown, but players who have been healed by the circle cannot be healed again for like 3 minutes. This makes it so you can heal off multiple Evies or multiple times off one spell.
That said, you can now only heal once every 3 minutes at fastest regardless of setup. Evie no longer takes the healer role.
And when you left, the game was still in easy mode. Vindictus never really got difficult until around level 60 and higher, and up until then I could snore through every dungeon in solo.
