Can't attack?

I'm not sure where to put this, so if this is in the wrong section, please move this thread.

So, I was doing G11, doing Former Attack for the first quest. I encountered a Shadow Wizard, and I can't attack it. I've tried using wm in every corner and in the centre and used my Dragon and Flammares to find where it is. So is it a lag or what?

Sometimes the monster glitches and is thrown to a location where no attack can reach it. This usually happens when it repeatedly gets knocked back and forth (e.g. repeated windmills etc.)

I've seen people set down ice mines and run over them. That seems to work sometimes. Other than that (to my knowledge), you would have to restart the mission.
