Clearing up some rules...

Well, the Tracking You thread, (and a few other in multimedia though I haven't taken a look) seem to sometimes get pretty random, and it's nice. For example on This page, I did ^ or +1 twice, it didn't really break the flow of the thread. I'm wondering if you'd still consider that an infraction and if I should seek to curb that before it gets me warned. >_>;

EDIT: Another example would be This , though that thread may have been better place in Bean Rua to begin with.

Usually if a topic gets too spammy in Mabi Talk, like your linked topic, we move them to Bean Rua (as I have since done to that topic). We did this with a few posts, the most notable being the numerous April Fools topics we had.

We tend to be a bit more lenient with topics like Tracking You and Post Your Latest Accomplishment/Failure. But that's usually regarding more social posts where people discuss things, and you're going to be better off just adding some actual substance like Hannah said.

if Xenforo is what I remembered it to be, there's a like button under each post that is made

(basically for people that agree with the post they can like it.. kinda like facebook as some people seem to dread)

But a User should only be able to "approve or like" a post once.

On xenforo the likes are equivalent to rep, and there's no dislike as far as I seen. So it's not too different than what we have now except there's no rep bar, instead it's how many likes you got.
