I'm posting this, because I almost never hear anyone talk about this issue, and it's existed for far too long.
R1 Icebolt, R1 Lightning Bolt, R1 Thunder, R1 Ice Spear, R1 Fireball, and R1 Healing all gain the effect that when you get knocked back or down, instead of losing all the charges you charged up, you only lose one. Firebolt also has this effect, but at all ranks except rank 1, at which rank, it loses no charges at all.
Instead, since some point in G13, every single one of those skills(And Fusion Bolts) have begun to lose two charges instead of one. There's absolutely no reason that this should be happening. It makes the bonus effect, that you ranked a skill all the way to R1 for, only half as effective. That additional charge loss can make all the difference between life and being knocked out.
Who else has noticed this?
Try to avoid saying mages shouldn't get hit; sometimes it's completely unavoidable.
