haven't watched a good majority of them, but I'll just talk about the ones I've already watched, might be of some help I suppose. LOL.

Steins;gate, omg. must watch. top. D: really really liked this anime.

Kiki's delivery service, this one is pretty nice, and it's only 1 and a half hour, so you can knock this one out fast. Not bad either lol. I liked it quiet a bit.

Durarara was so freaking hilarious. LOL. Had a good many laughs from it. It was tense at times too.

Summer wars is nice too, and like Kiki's delivery service, really fast watch.

Since you have Clannad afterstory but no clannad, I'll assume that you already watched clannad. WHY DID YOU NOT WATCH 2ND YET. D:

To aru kagaku no railgun is another nice one, albeit long. It's funny and tense throughout the entire series. Nice watch.

The Umineko anime's art derps a lot and is no where near as good as the Sound Novels. But I mean it's a pretty quick series to watch imo.
lovelovelove .hack// series. twilight bracelet wasn't my fave, but i definitely don't regret watching it.
angelic layer was one of the first animes i've ever watched. i've watched it a couple times since and i mean it's pretty cute, and i loved the idea.
i didn't like Air
and of course all miyazaki movies are a must-see.

Whisper of the Heart is one of the first anime I ever saw, and still ranks as my favorite. If you like other Miyazaki films (Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, etc.) then you'll definitely enjoy it as well.
